Penultimate snipe stats time.

It's been quite a ride. Teflon Yuffie fell at the five-time tier, which still pales in comparison to last year where there were three characters who ended at the six-time tier (Eiko, Cid H, Ashe). Gaff's got the 3rd longest overall survival streak. And Gilgamesh also broke the four-time curse by lasting 3 extra days instead of 1.

Which just shows that every day matters.

Inviso had 15 snipes at this point last year so probably too tough to match now... sniping is a luxury at this point!

Nah it's easy. As far as who people generally like from that game, Aerith ranks lower (which I kind of understand but don't agree with and think opinions will definitely improve post-remake) and so does Red XIII (which I do understand, he suffers from the game barely developing him relative to the rest).

I still (want to) believe in REMAKE BOOST and Red winning would be disastrous for that, much like Fang winning last year probably doesn't help Lightning this year. So I sincerely hope it doesn't happen but I can see all the 7 votes accumulating to him when Aerith and Barret are eliminated. It's just not great... really is feeling like last year all over again.

As far as FF7 stats (credit to GMUN on all of this), there have been 20 characters in SMFFFC history and 15 are stats-eligible. 10 had made the top 10 previously, 2 newcomers now, so the three with stats who haven't (and their highest historical placement) are:

Cissnei (17)
Elena (29)
Cait Sith (22... out of 40)

Elena just got soft-booted and who knows if she gets back in. Cissnei's out at the top 50 next year unless someone else takes over that cause from me (please for the love of god somebody).

As for the Cait Sith project... let's wait for REMAKE BOOST (pt 2) for that.

Yeah part of it is also healing wounds I have caused. The ones I feel bad about anyway. Lightning's year ended a few years in a row because Voltch needed to feel my justice but swordz never deserved that, and as I have said many times I think Lightning is a great character.

Seymour is behind Tidus (already won though) and Rikku but that's pretty much it in my FFX rankings and it's my favorite FF (although FFXIV might give it a run by the time I catch up!) and of course me and vcharon have had many, many negative words over the years. I have had my conquests, skewered my enemies as much as I cared to. For a warmonger who has conquered everything it is oddly satisfying to sit down and speak of peace.
