Why don't other states have power and fire issues? California is the top state in terms of a healthy economy yet it can't figure out how to redesign it's power grid.

Why don't other states have power and fire issues?

I mean, other states don't have California's combination of climate and geographic features, and populous areas that make it so ripe for wildfires causing damage to places where people live.

Arizona? Nevada? Texas? Utah?

These states are dry and hot yet they hardly have any wildfires on the same scale as california.

Significantly less trees and brush are probably a factor

There are plenty of wild fires in northern Arizona near Flaggstaff. There isn't enough vegetation in southern Arizona for large wildfires.

Also, Texas aside, they are much more sparsely populated than California; whatever wildfires they have are less likely to pose a threat to people.

heres what people are saying

-in 2017 and 2018 years ago PGE caused fires because their equipment was too close to trees and they didn't care about upkeep and everything blew up.
-the state sued them
-PGE went bankrupt, but since they own all the power lines and the electricity here, they're still in business.
-as PUNISHMENT and REVENGE for the state of california sueing them, they refused to rebuild their structures, power lines, etc, and instead focus on making money for their shareholders.
-to make more money, instead of fixing issues, they just shut power off and say lmao fuck you.

They don't really have forests though, not like Cali

Northern AZ is basically entirely a forest and just had one of the biggest fires the country has seen near Flagstaff/Sedona.

But, like people are saying, these areas are less populated and structured in a way where wildfires dont damage cities

cant do nothing about the homeless problem without more affordable housing (think the housing regulation screws that problem over).

Hawaii.

Hawaii is not a dry climate, at least not compared to California.
Per this, pretty much everywhere in California gets <30 inches of rain per year

Hawaii gets significantly more:

There is quite a bit of it, yes. Though it's not like saharah desert, it's more like Red Dead Redemption with less cowboys and just more snakes wolves and mountain lions. And cactus.

Do you live in Hawaii?
No?

Lmao, your source cites yearly averages, painting the most simplistic picture of rainfall/climate. Should be embarrassed, honestly.

Even if you created more housing many homeless are on drugs, mentally or physically disabled and all of the above.

And for many of them not in those category's and are relatively healthy.....in my opinion should just leave for someplace cheaper.
