Poll of the Day > So when it comes to youtube, and to an extent Twitch, what do you prefer?

Do you prefer a channel you watch to have videos about the same thing every time? Or do you like the channel to have variety? I include Twitch because I do mean mostly watching game content.

If you choose variety, do you like them to have a different game every series of videos ordo you like them to focus on one game and sprinkle in different games here and there?

I prefer the same cast/person and doing something consistent.

I also watch a lot of cooking channels on youtube and wish some of the presenters on things like Eater or BA would only have one presenter. Like I prefer Brad on BA and on Eater I only like PrimeTime

Yeah of course. I think that the majority of top Twitch streamers though do just one game as their focus.

But this wasn't really about if there were variety streamers or not, it was about people's personal preferences in the content they choose.

I mostly like when things stay the same, but it's good for people to grow a little, too.

For certain material, I prefer my subs (although I haven't followed many of them as closely lately). Otherwise I just go through recommended videos or try to binge content. As a general rule, I don't follow that much of YT's user-generated content.
