I know it just started today but so far no Cobalion raids.

We live about 50 feet from a gym, so anytime we see the nerd herds pulling up in their cars outside, we make sure to open the game up and check lol.

I caught a shiny Swinub today

Had a pretty great stretch of luck - within about an hour of total play time, I got a 100% Magnemite and shiny Geodude on my way home last night, a shiny Magnemite while sitting at home, then another shiny Geodude on the way to work this morning.

Also one candy away from my first Alakazam.

it's random on the stats. mine came out as a 2 star (would i loved to have another) yes... but that just involves raising up 125 candy and lots of stardust.

learned the raids have changed for the better. 2* stuff has fire pokemon and exeggcutor. thankfully exeggcutor ended up having just grassy attack and solar beam (lots of time to dodge it).

Yeah I still only have 1 unova as well. Almost have enough candies for the water monkey, but that one is just dex filler. So yeah litwick is definitely priority.

7 day research is today if I have time to do something. Haven't had a chance. Otherwise will get it for sure tomorrow. But I probably won't get a stone, because why would Niantic be cool and guarantee you get one?

Even then, I wanted one for candy at least, and to open the Dex up for possible trading.

The first Larvitar I ever caught ended up 3 stars with Max Attack, so she's for sure the one I'll focus on.

I hatched 3 Aerodactyls in a FUCKING ROW. I used to like him, but I hate the motherfucker now.

I got lucky, I got a Unova Stone last week and used it to get Chandelure on Halloween. He was already pretty maxed out, so dudes sitting at like 3100cp

Caught 4 stupid Panpours today by total accident lol. Was stopped near a PokeStop at work and it was raining and two spawned right there. Then I drifted a but and two more spawned haha. I could evolve it now since I got another stone from the Regigigas event, but fuck the monkies. I'll hang onto it for now.

Not that it'll be for a while, but when they do the Excavation Month or whatever the fuck the Rock-type event is called, they generally do Aerodactyl raids. That's how I ended up catching one for that research mission.

Anyone know if shiny Vulpix/Ninetales is in PoGo? I tried a Ninetales raid myself and lost by about two seconds, wondering if shinies are in the game so I can prep a little better and try again, or if it's not worth it.

Evolved forms can't be found shiny anyways, only base forms.

The only sorta exceptions are Pikachu (franchise mascot gets to be the exception to everything) and Roselia (since its shiny form came out before Budew was released), and a couple specifically temporary ones (Nidorina/Nidoqueen for like two days for an event, Gengar for its raid day).

Kinda silly, but yeah, don't throw passes at evolved forms if you're looking for shinies. Gotta get the base stage shiny then evolve it.

Err, how trading has always worked is that you get candy for the Pokemon you send away. You do not get candy for the Pokemon you receive.

Ah okay cool. Mine is around that same cp but has a weak appraisal. Probably showed up due to weather. Also caught a tangela and those rarely show up when not sunny.

they're hard but not impossible.

evolved a 5th murkrow ----> honchkrow finally got sky attack. now have a worthy flyer for grass types once it gets a chance to power up.

rocket event ends thursday (i miss the old biome).
