Welp, have the candies for Chandelure, but can't get a fucking Unova Stone for the life of me.

After all the backlash they received with the Sinnoh Stone, why continue that shit? At least it made thematic sense with the Gen 4 evolved Pokemon since they needed a reason to explain why these Pokemon could evolve all of a sudden.
It's not even a matter of money either since you can't even pay to win for it lol. Hell, I'd toss a few bucks for a gift box if it had some stones in it.

Lampent and the monkey trio all required evolution stones in the main series - just like the stones needed for those new Sinnoh evolutions that were replaced by a single stone (though, for a few of them it replaced a move-based evolution).

Technically you can "P2W" for the Unova stone, as you can purchase the pass for the Regigigas event which gives you one. But really, just like the others, it can be safely assumed that more ways to obtain it will be coming soon, then eventually they'll be just another evo item that you toss extras of occasionally.

Now we're stuck with this shitty solution lol.

Plus there's Pokemon in Hoenn that evolved with a stone, but we never got a Hoenn stone. Like I said before, I'm just really surprised they brought the mechanic back considering how maligned it is.

evolved sneasel into weavile had to fix the moveset into an ice type with just one charged TM.
chansey from the field request was 2 star. still hunting for chansey.

hit level 32 and finished 4/7 of a thousand year slumber. seems really easy at least for now. will be 5 days before it's complete due to free raid minus the friend/leader battles.

Like nearly every update introducing a new bug or reintroducing an old one. GO Plus users in particular have to be wary of every update because there's a good chance it'll break connectivity.

Like an hour ago when New Zealand suddenly got Trapinch Community Day happening again, because Japan's make-up day starts in a couple hours and apparently Niantic didn't think to limit it to the appropriate region.

Like yesterday when they unintentionally released access to Wayfarer for a while before rolling it back.

Like a couple days before that when they accidentally switched on next week's Colossal event for a while.

Like shiny forms accidentally being removed temporarily (happened like 7 or 8 times now).

Like all the times they've had to reschedule Community Days or Raid Days because they don't activate them properly or the servers take a dump.

Like players using certain Redmi phone models being inexplicably banned through zero fault of their own.

On and on... Niantic is notorious for mind-boggling programming errors and piss-poor communication. I love the game and have been a heavy player since the day after it came out, but c'mon, their incompetence is obvious and everlasting.

Bruh, 15 is a tiny stretch of bad luck, lol. It's a ~15% chance for trainer battles and ~10% for team leader battles. 3 battles and 1 battle per day, respectively, you're bound to start averaging a few per week.

Yeah, for team leaders the best odds are in Master League - and you must win the battle to have a chance at anything but dust.
For trainer battles, league and result don't matter, always the same odds.

Gyarados drops Entei, fires off one Crunch to tease a barrier. Launch a second Crunch as soon as Salamance comes out for second barrier, immediately switch to Gardevoir. Charm drops Sal in seconds, fire a Shadow Ball at Moltres, and Bob's your uncle.

I play almost every day and often struggle to find enough peeps to send gifts to.

I don't think I got rid of anyone from CE. If I did was accident. I actually at least kinda know you guys. But I had a lot of randoms from Reddit that completely stopped send/receive so they got the axe tonight.

So only temporary issues that were resolved almost immediately. Unlike most major title console releases that you play. You wont even have time to notice these issues unless youre playing non-stop every day. The only time Ive even noticed them rescheduling community days is over the summer when they changed the hours to prevent users from getting heatstroke. Quit complaining.

just evolved sneasel (shiny) and magikarp (perfect)
both got the right moveset that i wanted.

weavile: ice shard/avalanche
gyrados: waterfall/hydro pump (might be used instead of the previous but always good to have 2 on hand once i power em enough) effective against ground type and piloswine raid boss.

onto the next research portion is to make an excellent curve throw. i did it in the last half hour if only it would count (was against a shadow magmar) many more chances on the times i have to catch pokemon.
