Explain to me how investment banking is quantifiably more labor intensive and mentally straining than working a 12 hour shift in a downtown restaurant kitchen.

One requires years of studying and experience.

The other requires breathing and not being disabled.

Anyone can serve people at a restaurant, not everyone can game the stock markets. It's a lot harder than you make it sound and probably is more mental straining as there's often a lot of financial risk involved.

This isn't true. The difference you are looking for is that restaurant service jobs typically don't require a formal education, while investment banking positions do. There are some people who would be a bad fit for investment banking after they acquired the necessary education, but all the same there are plenty of people who are a bad fit for restaurant service.

I didn't say they had to the job well, but anybody can do it none the less

If you can't do a job well then you can't do the job.

Anyone can trade stocks. Not anyone can be a professional broker.

Its 100% true, and its the part of life that makes people uncomfortable because they need to justify their failure.

Its an entry level job, literally anyone can do it, that is exactly why the majority of young people have their first job in a restaurant, or grocery store, or fast food place.

Actually being successful in life takes skill far beyond the mainstream's comprehension, you physically cannot understand what it takes, and how hard people work, so to justify your own lack of success, you say things like "cuz bloodlines, privilege" etc etc.

The only thing that matters about this conversation, is the 1% will always exist, because they are smart, and the rest of society will always remain dumb, they will always blame the 1%, and vote to increase taxes on them, which is what they want, and then the 1%, this vague group of people, will outmaneuver you, and still make money off of you.

I can operate heavy machinery that you need training and licensing for, but I could never be a proper worker in the service industry. Those people are goddamn wizards to my juggle ass. People who don't respect the ability to talk to (sometimes unruly) people in a friendly and personable way, and not lose their goddamn marbles because they actually hate being there, are clearly either assholes, unsuited for leadership, or in management.
