I feel like the only one who liked TPS. It was short but as a solo player it was a lot more manageable than 2 with the giant sprawling maps.

On topic, the gameplay is greatly improved, but GBX still feels the need to "balance" a non competitive game while ignoring the terrible optimization issues and assorted other bugs and shit, like hard crashes and characters/vaults deleting themselves. So, wait for the inevitable GoTY edition or whatever, or play offline (it's way more stable for me offline than on). --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

It's a good game. It basically takes what BL2 did and adds a lot of quality of life things to it. Better movement, with mounting and sliding, no slag, cryo and radiation are both nice, and other small things. The playable characters have more interesting skill trees overall. Story isn't as good though and when compared with the complete BL2 experience, including DLCs, it feels a little shallow in content. Optimization is hurting right now also.
Overall I'd say go ahead and pick it up. It's very fun, and the biggest drawbacks, aside from story, will likely be addressed with the dlcs and patches. ... Copied to Clipboard!
