Politics does weird shit to people I think it's just the natural side-effect of people used to watching Transformers and Fast and the Furious movies trying to cope with a movie with actual subtext (Albeit not exactly deep or figurative stuff). People who aren't use to analyzing film are watching something that needs, to some extent, to be analyzed to be fully understood. However, they're filling in the blanks in their understanding with whatever exists in the cultural gestalt--Incels, alt right, class warfare, ect. The class warfare thing in particularly most people don't realize is not a point of the film. The purpose the themes of "class warfare" serve is not that of a criticism of economics or an example of mob rule. In Joker, class warfare simply represents "chaos". It is not a condemnation or a validation. It's merely the chaos from which Joker is surrounded. We are not told it is good and we're not told it is bad. It's more like a law of physics or a force of nature.
