Coming from an American citizen, it's some radicalised douchebag who's considering the possibility of domestic terrorism. Being endorsed by the leader of a country? At best, it's incredibly irresponsible to throw that sort of rhetoric around. At worst, it can be considered a rallying cry. The term "coup" has a lot of weight behind it, too. It conjures imagery of someone taking the country by force, overthrowing a leader and rising to a position of power without concern for due process. It's closely tied to treason. By backing these terms through an official channel, it feels like an attempt to further divide the country. It's a step towards authoritarianism - anyone who opposes me is an enemy of the people, and we should prepare to fight those who would oppose my will. They say I'm doing something wrong, but they're all crooks, liars and cheats anyway so you can't trust what they say. The President of the United States, by virtue of his tweeting, has attached himself to alarmist propaganda promising armed conflict in response to his impeachment.
