Already they confirmed what we already saw in a small video, that auto-saving is a thing. It sounds like, though, that unlike every other game, the auto-save still saves to your main file instead of a separate file. So you have to manually turn it off in the settings each time you want to do something like reset for a legendary or whatever.

Also the Exp. Share is no more... because now it's just automatic forever. Seemingly you don't have the option to turn it off, but maybe (hopefully) they just forgot to mention that part?

Surprised you didnt immediately mention the reason why they cut Pokemon from the game and the news that they will be returning in the future games

I think some people were worried they wouldnt and Im not sure people knew the decision to not have them all in Sword/Shield wasnt entirely on Gamefreak. Nintendo and The Pokmon Company had a hand in it

I do like how they hint that they're finally adding a way to change natures. Hopefully it isn't as obtuse as Hyper Training to the point where it's still faster to breed than use the new method.

Oh, I know. I'm just saying that I wish they would tell us. I don't have any expectations of finding out before the game or a demo comes out.

It might be possible we find out sooner if the upcoming demo results in a big datamine like one of the 3DS games did, but they mightve learned their lesson since then

The gyms are apparently set up in a Minor League and Major League fashion, so that's cool

Looking at the region map, it still looks like the symbol on the snowy city's gym could be Dark.

Surely that means there are more than 8.

Or maybe it's just as simple as there's 18 gyms in the setting and we might get Minor League gym leaders appear without them having gyms in the game at all. And we'll still end up with around 8 gyms plus version differences accounting for a few more.

They're being intentionally vague. It could just be a lore thing to explain why gyms differ between versions.

The fact that you can actually turn off auto saving will please the people who want to reset for good IVs/nature on their legendary.
