I wouldn't say they were bullies, but I knew a couple dudes who I got into fights with

One, who I befriended, is now in prison for murdering some homeless guy
Another, who I was friends with at first, flipped his car into a water-filled ditch while DUI and drowned like a decade ago

So, goes to show something I guess

I'm assuming this was a joke, but I was literally just about to post how I didn't really get bullied in high school, but this one kid bullied me pretty bad in middle school. I found out from some old school friends later on that he died at age 21 in a different state. Nobody knows for sure how he died (as obituaries never say, so you often don't know unless you know the family or something). There were some rumors floating around, but to this day, I don't know how he died.

One got married [supposedly, she tried to friend me twice on Facebook under a married name and I turned her down both times] and lives in Nashville, TN according to public record.

The other has done a pediatric medical residency - I doubt she was actually mean overall, she was just influenced by the girl listed above and was more of a follower.

What confuses me so much is that a friend of mine from elementary school suggested we get together with the aforementioned two ladies and 'catch up'. She didn't seem to recall how awful they were to us, and to her specifically: calling her a pig, calling her fat, making fun of her lunch, saying she ate too much. I just played off the invitation.

The worst of my bullying occurred in middle school, though there was some in 4th and 5th grade as well. I was a total Outcast in high school because of all that, but at least that meant I avoided the bullying that went on there.

One of the two that did the worst thing to me almost got expelled when he and a buddy taped up a Coke bottle and put it under a table as a joke. They weren't since it was empty, but that was a hell of an epic day with the bomb squad being called in and all. His friend never graduated and ended up in jail for a bit.

Another apologized at the end of eighth grade - he was encouraged to, no doubt - before going off to another high school. That one I have completely forgiven and hold no ill will toward.

Yet another is a life insurance salesman who tried to rope me into one of his scams on LinkedIn about a year ago. I pretended to bite but after I asked why we had to meet at his office, he realized I'd been playing him and never replied XD

A lot of the other jerks I've long forgotten about. I hold no grudge toward them the way I do the first two, but I look back in solace and know that I ended up better than either of them, and that's good enough.

There were so many of them, and I didn't ever learn a lot of their names. I know one guy died and I took time to stop and spit on his grave, but the rest of them I don't really know.
