Think about it: 2019 - The next terminator? The evil terminator trying to kill humanity is mexican. 2019- Rambo: The last blood: "latinos are bad. shoot them all. pew pew pew Rambo is a badass!" 2018 - The Mule: Clint Eastwood is a good man and Korean War veteran forced to be a drug mule by bad mexicans from mexico because it's the mexican thing to do 2013- The Last Stand: Arnold Schwarzenegger is a good sheriff trying to stop the bad mexican drug dealers to go back to mexico and get away with their horrible mexican crimes See a pattern? Sicario, just like Man on Fire do have a reason to have a specific theme, it's sort of like making a movie like The Departed and basing it on Boston.
