Her first series might have had a fair share of stinkers, mostly via Chris Chibnall's episodes, but Jodie Whittaker's approach to the character has been energetic and fun. I really enjoyed the Thirteenth Doctor with her boundless spirit of curiosity.

All I want from series 12 is more screentime for Yaz and better episodes from Chibnall. Also, I would genuinely welcome a more comprehensive story arc featuring the Stenza - we've seen Tim Shaw, and now I wanna learn more about them. Tim Shaw collected teeth as trophies - do other Stenza collect other trophies? Is there a Stenza hunter who claims their victim's ears? How about a Stenza who grafts the skin of its conquests onto its body?

The Thirteenth Doctor isn't an inherently flawed concept - I thoroughly enjoyed this interpretation of the character more than I liked Peter Capaldi's tenure. And that's not a dig at Peter Capaldi, because he did the most with what he was given. I have no doubt about that. The Thirteenth Doctor is just a return to more character-focused episodes, instead of some stupid Doctor-centric myth arc that holds universe shattering consequences every season if some scrotum-faced alien menace learns the coveted secret of the Doctor's blood type or whatever the fuck. And I much prefer small, personal stories in a wide universe full of adventure than I prefer everything revolving around the Doctor as the pinnacle of all life.

I liked her as well. The overall season wasn't great but she did a decent job. Graham was also awesome. I hope Yaz gets better because she had potential but was just there most of the time. And I hope other guy dies in a horrible crayon eating accident. What a complete waste of skin dipshit. Hopefully last season was just standard getting used to it stuff and we get some better episodes next time.

damn, was Ryan really that bad though?

I want him to stay on and hopefully get a better storyline. Kinda like how Yaz was shafted in favor of her mother in Arachnids in the UK, Ryan was kinda shafted all season in favor of Graham's pain. It was Ryan's nan who died, and while it's no secret that Graham well and truly loved her, it was still kind of cheap that his pain got more focus than Ryan's pain did.

Ryan is just so incredibly stupid. He feels completely useless and never has any idea what's going on. He's right up there with Adric as worst companion.

She was good. Her nerdy social awkwardness is like a mix of 5, 10 and 11.

Didn't much care for her companions.

Who?

Doctor Who is about an alien then when it almost dies, it regenerates into a new body with a different personality and face. this is to explain why they keep changing main actors for the show. as the show is technically about the same main character but the show has been going on since the 60's.

it's always been a male, but the most current Doctor turned into a woman for the first time ever.

I applaud you for giving a serious response but I was making a pun
