It's too small to be a Ponyta though. I think they either gave Ponyta a Galarian pre-evo, or it's just a brand new horse-like line.

Meowth is supposed to have both a Gigantamax form and a Galarian form and/or evolution (I forget the exact wording). Longcat Gigantamax and some kind of spiky ball form/evolution.

 After seeing this, I think I've been convinced that every single instance we've seen so far was just Ponyta. No Rapidash and no pre-evo. https://imgur.com/2UMsPbL I'm not ready to put much stock in it yet. A Fairy unicorn Ponyta is probably one of the easiest Galarian forms to guess for a British region. Plus despite saying there's 97 new Pokemon, they don't describe a single new Pokemon beyond what we've already seen or speculated.
