Bolton is one of the absolute worst people ever to set foot in Washington D.C., and that's really saying something.

But apparently what got him axed was him being against Trump inviting literally the Taliban to Camp David on literally the week of 9/11's anniversary.

Of all the totally justifiable reasons to fire the dude, of course Trump does it for the only thing Bolton has ever been right about in his entire life!

Everyone's abuzz about why he was fired. But the real question is...why was he hired in the first place? Only an idiot would hire him to advise of foreign policy.

If the Taliban wants to talk then let them. The Taliban is going to say;

and

"Stop bombing us, dickheads"

And then Trump would have said;

"Excellent, wonderful people, we have our top negotiators on the case, what president has done this?"

Making peach with your allies tends to be less productive than making peace with your enemies. And, if anybody was stupid in all this, it was really the Taliban considering they were getting a pretty good deal.

Making peach with your allies tends to be less productive than making peace with your enemies. And, if anybody was stupid in all this, it was really the Taliban considering they were getting a pretty good deal.

Theres a pretty huge difference between negotiating with the taliban and inviting them onto US soil in secret so close to the anniversary of September 11th

I mean, maybe it's just because he's defended nazis so often and in so many different cases ("they're not from 1940's Germany, so they're not actual nazis!") that I don't even consider that a low point for him anymore. Like, I feel as though he'd do that shit even if Trump weren't around.

But trying to defend negotiating w/ the terrorists who aided those that attacked us on 9/11 by inviting them to the US the week of that attack's anniversary? And excusing it as, "well, anniversaries occur every year, so what's the big deal?"

It does worry me that Trump fired him, over all other things, for arguing that hosting the Taliban at Camp David on the week of 9/11 with no preconditions is a terrible move

Also, the fact that there are still worse people than John Bolton that Trump could be considering. Id like for him to have stable advisors because I dont want the country making horrible decisions like starting a war with Iran
