were hard levels. Long levels, but not difficult. and certainly didn't take hours or multiple tries to finish.

I don't even remember the infamous train level. It can't have been too hard for me.

Long as we're talking San Andreas, I still think that part of my playthrough was better than the canon story. In the mission where you kill Ryder, there's supposed to be a big confrontation after a boat chase. But when I played it, Ryder somehow flipped his own boat over and drowned, ending the mission without me doing anything. I thought it was fitting that for all his ranting about being a genius, he died by his own stupidity.

I don't even remember San Andreas missions but that circumstance made me laugh XD

The train mission was only as hard as Smoke made it. He was a terrible shot using a shitty gun. It took me about 6 tries before he actually decided to really do anything. There were times he plainly just forgot to shoot, making me have to restart

No, we have to do more than just follow the damn train!

I found the radio-controlled plane and flight school missions to be way more annoying and bullshit than the train ever was.

The flight school being mandatory and basically preventing you from finishing the game without beating it is a large part of why I never played San Andreas more than once. After beating it I was just like "Nothing in this game is good enough to make me ever want to go through that again."

And the Water Temple mission is from what Zelda game? OoT? The one where you have to carry that Mermaid chick on your back?

Above your head, which is a running joke. Even in Hyrule Warriors, her entrance in someone carrying her and throwing her on the battlefield. She doesnt really walk in stories either. Darunia carries her. Haha. But yeah, its that one...

The only time I had trouble with the water temple was the first time I played OoT3D, I didn't see the one temple of time block and had to look up a map to find out where to go.

Technically, you only carry her in Jabu Jabus Belly. But she is in the water temple... But she moves on her own there.

Gotta love good programming that doesnt have chase sequences on rails.

I agree on the radio-controlled plane one, I think that mission took me something like a dozen times to get through because you had to be SOOO accurate to beat it within the time limit. Even if you did the mission perfectly you usually only had a few seconds remaining.

Flight school I never had much trouble with, partially because the controls weren't so touchy like in the radio-controlled plane, but also because I grew up playing flight simulators on a keyboard as a kid. Playing a flying section with a controller is awkward, but I can manage (as long as the plane doesn't go wildly out of control from the slightest wiggle of the thumb-stick).

I'm usually fine with flight controls, and I didn't have too much trouble with the ones in GTAV, but there was something about the ones in GTA:SA that just completely eluded me. I actually had to get someone else to do it for me eventually because I tried like 30+ times and couldn't get past one of the later tests, and my rising frustration was just making it even harder every time.

The RC planes were definitely harder than the regular flight school, though. The only saving grace there was that they were optional missions, and that was back before Achievements or giving a shit about 100% was as much of a thing as it is now, so I could completely ignore them in good conscience.
