I'm hesitant on the gem select. Don't need any of the gen 1 chains, and there's no gen 2 ice chain on there. Maaaaybe Red XIII's magic earth chain (got Galuf's physical). Haven't spent yet, and on the fence. Chains so far:

Fire: Vincent
Ice: Rinoa (Fran free one)
Earth: Galuf
Wind: Zack, Faris
Water: Tidus, Rikku
Lightning: All gen 2 chains
Holy: WoL, Ramza
Dark: Seifer, Golbez

Stargo is probably worth getting for Belias since Tidus and Rikku are physical attackers, though if you get a water magic awakening (or semi water like Ashe or Rinoa) you probably don't need it since he's pretty basic otherwise.

I did it for Red XIII though I haven't picked it up yet, just waiting on the fest free 30 draw just to be safe, if I do get it I'll get Edward or Alph's as insurance.

I pulled on VII because there are lots of strong relics, but I got a dupe Yuffie USB2.

Not sure if I want to pull on VI tomorrow: there's an ice chain and quite a few AASBs, but there's also so many garbage characters and their shitty relics.

So I made a couple changes to my BK team. Added Terra for Rydia, and got a magic earth dagger from the artifact thing. Ive barely used any, and even though Ive missed some from events, I still have almost 20. Got the free FFV one, the FFVII sword because I liked it, then the mind holy dagger and the magic dark dagger.

All in all, adding in Terra with her AASB, even though its geared for fire, paired with meltdown was quite powerful. Went from 37.59 in the best of my two wins earlier, to 25.37. Thats a crazy difference. Only have to kill this thing one more time, but much less annoying now.

Changes aren't that major but obviously the banners I was looking forward to most got worse for me. b2 and b4 both lost an awakening I don't have and replaced it with a dupe. b3 gets a second chain and still doesn't have any 6* dupes for me (although it did add Alphinaud's GSB which I have), I might need to prioritize that one more now. Still not planning to draw on 1 or 5.

I pulled on VI and got Shadow's Glint. It's new, for a character I occasionally use, and not an awful, dated BSB. I suppose I can't complain about that for 5 myth.

I guess banner 3 still looks best, even though Rikku CSB and Alph Glint are dupes. Alph AASB is a relic I'd like to have, so the changes are pretty balanced.

I was going to aim for Lighting or Ashe stuff but seeing the Strago and Alphinaud dupes there is worrying. Maybe I'll go for banner 4 instead and hope I get something to beat Ramuh with (finger crossed for Rinoa Sync or Enna Kros Awakening)

Totally pulled on it anyway. Got Kelger AOSB. 20 (+1) hits and I have his USB as well. Should pair well with Bartz AASB and Galuf chain. Maybe I should try that torment.

Ive just given in to drawing on all of them. But I got Rydia AOSB on this one, which is actually nice. Something I didnt have, though wouldve been nice when I was initially using her on my BK team.

regarding the fireworks draw, I have 2/4 of the awakenings, the one chain, and 2 of the 3 AOSBs, so Im good.

Finally, is Terra with AASB and Valigarmanda good as DPS against Geosgaeno? Im thinking Palom USB (the double cast one) will be my other one, with chain thundaja, along with OK mUSB, Garnet or Desch chain, and likely Elarra.

I did end up pulling on the Sync banner, got Tifa's Glint+ out of it. Finally get to try those out, I would think they'd be very useful since they don't use of the SB gauge. That pull put me at exactly 1000 mythril! Probably gonna wait for all of the RoP banners to release before I post all my draws.

As a bonus I did pick up a Kuja USB from the daily yesterday

Yes, she should be fine. I used her for lightning against Odin so if she could do that she can handle Geosgaeno.

Beat him in 29.85. Had to try a few setups, but got him in the end. Used OK to help heal a bit too, as Larsa couldnt fully handle it himself and he needs to be there to astra the stone punch. Using his mUSB, but if I bring Tyro, use fabula raider as RW, and still use Deschs chain, I should still have the same amount of magic damage.

Subbed in Tyro and Elarra, for OK and Larsa. Open with godwall, entrust half a bar to Elarra, then wrath a bar to use USB1 after phase 3 savage regurgitate to block savage stone punch. Everyone else basically did the same thing from before, shaved 7 seconds off my time (22.81 I think).

I was on the fence about the 25 mythril LD. The Glint/LMR draw has 8% chance for a 6* Glint, 6* for 5* Glints or LMRs.

Since many 6* glints are great and with guaranteed 2 relics, I went for it, and I'm glad I did:

Gogo V Glint+ (empowered en-water)
Zack Glint+ (free imperil wind)
Noel Glint+ (free imperil ice)

Im still not sure about it. I have around 150 mythril, and still want a shot at at least a couple banners. Definitely doing the AASB lucky though.

I probably might have bit on the Lucky draw if I had more mythril, but I only have 95 right now, I'm only budgeted for the Awakening lucky and 2 draws on a fest banner with the fest mythril.

It should be easier to save mythril now since I was blowing a bunch on realm and elemental in desperation of Awakenings, but now that I beat 5 Odin's and Titan I can just focus on the next 6* Magicite (probably banner 4 for Ramuh)

Yeah, as I'm beating more things, I'm realizing what I need and what I don't. Can very comfortably kill Geosgaeno in 22 seconds, give or take a second or two based on DCs from Terra and Palom. So next on the list would technically be Belias, but I don't know what water magic I have. May give Manticore a shot first, since I have Terra AASB and such.

wow tried Quetzactoatl at random, never beat that level of Magicite before on any element. 29.85 thanks to Tremor Assault quint casting twice.

I don't think I can even beat it again unless I get that level of insane double casts again.

OK is not very useful here, since he only provides the crit-fix and Hastega, with Galuf's chain present.

If you have Tyro's Godwall or USB4, I'd use either one instead, and have him Wrath+Entrust to Aerith for more USB2 spam and quickcast. Even if you don't have Tyro's USBs, I think I'd switch OK to entrust-bot, and share Protectga and Shellga between Galuf and Aerith instead.

You can also use OK as a DPS with the new earth ninja ability, even though he lacks dualcast ninja he can still do decent damage and chain building because of the decreasing cast time from his pUSB.

Took a shot at banner one. Two discos and a rainbow popped out. Skipped the 3 and 4* one by one, then waited for the rainbow to show itself. It didnt. Sat there for a couple seconds while I thought it had frozen, then Dr Mog comes on screen and dazzles it, changing one of the discos to some prism thing, which is a 7* apparently.

I got a rainbow on the daily, some mask with a shared dark attack. Man it sucks seeing people get Awakenings from the dalies and I get dupes or stuff that came out before I started playing.

I got 150 mythril though so I got 3 pulls for banner 4, I need my luck to change for the better since there's not many good earth banners in the future for Ramuh.
