I know there's a site, or something similar, that distinguishes between the different types of the same USB (Tyro USB1 vs USB2 for example), which basically lets you know which one is which. Anyone have that link, or know what it is?

I just use the official FFRK website's character page, it lists the relics by type in order of release date.

Everything is new, which is nice, and both Edea and Laguna's USBs have doublecast. Still, no better ice chain, or better USB or awakening for Squall. Still think Syldra will be out of reach unfortunately.

I did an 11 on the earth chocobo banner and I finally have an Earth Chain. It's Machina's, who is probably the worst chain holder, but I'm not complaining. I also got his w-cast LMR, so that instantly improves him some.

These elemental banners aren't as good as I thought they would be, too many old relics. Not doing any of them for now... so 484 mythril saved for fest. I used my draw ticket on core, got Elarra's BSB.

Luck of the Realms / Realms on Parade should be starting in just a few days I think. 12/9 seems like the most likely date.

BSB+ I assume for RoP. Will likely be more stingy with that this time around, as well as the lucky draws (though definitely taking a shot at the awakening one that I believe is there). I think I may take a shot at the synchro banner, and then go do some realm dungeons that I'm super behind on.

Red XIII is a pretty crappy chain holder too. He has a magic chain but his dive gives him bonuses to attack and support damage. His native LMs are support damage and buff duration. Until today none of his soul breaks gave him enEarth - now he has his awakening (which I got) and his G+. He STILL doesn't have an enEarth LMR or 5* glint or any other reusable way to enEarth (even in JP). So at best he can only re-up twice in a fight where the boss will probably remove it 3+ times.

Red XIII was never that bad since he has support 5* so he could be an entrustbot, that's certainly more useful than say putting Gilgamesh in a fire mage team.

Even with all of his flaws he's still way better than CoD. As far as I know she hasn't even gotten any new relics since the Ingus Awakening banner.

I'm thinking about taking on Titan when I get home from work, but I'm gonna do an anima lens USB pick before I fight him, I'm thinking between Tyro GodWall or Zidane USB2. I already got Cloud USB2 from there so I only have enough for one.

Having GodWall is great for stalling in the first phase, but I'm most likely going to use my tickets on the Core banner for Elara glint and Awakening so I could dupe it later. Also seems like most other 6* Magicite use all piercing attacks anyway so it may end up worthless later.

I could use Quina as an entrustbot instead since I have her USB, losing wall would hurt but her trance might make up for it, which lets me free up Zidane USB2. (I may not on the LMR select for her quickcast though)

What does the rest of your team look like? DVG is definitely useful and I think if you don't use it in the first phase of TItan then you need to have last stand. Quina is good but her USB gets less useful since the +50% attack gets canceled by the buff on any physical wind chain. Do you have ZIdane's AASB already? You will definitely want a way to renew enWind, although if you have his glint you might not need his USB2. Especially if you have his OSB you might be better off just spamming that after the AASB/trance mode expire.

I posted it before but originally it was Penelo, Zidane, Cloud, Zack and Elara. I'm going to swap Penelo for an entrustbot for Cloud.

Zack has chain/USB1/dualcast lmr
Cloud has USB1/2, Glint, dualcast lmr/Sword Damage up LMR will get his AOSB off the dream select.

Zidane has glint, AOSB, Awakening, USB1, dualcast LMR. I don't think I can fit his OSB in the four slots. I was hoping to replace USB1 with USB2 so he can use that after his first glint, then USB 2, then Awakening and refresh USB2 when he gets dispelled so he can use the finisher as well.

Main reason I'm using Quina is for the shellga/protectga/haste usb and on a character with support 5* not the 50% attack buff.

I hated having to drop Zidane but it seems like even with 3 stacks of enWind and max chain he still was doing crummy damage. It was just more efficient to have two entrustbots to support Cloud, and one gave the party instant cast and 15 hits. Also fun fact I had Zack with the attack+ magic boost sword from the Valkyrie Profile collab to help Cloud break the savage modes in phase 3, he didn't have much else to do at max imperil.

But MAN do I feel grand taking down a 6* magicite!

Oh yeah I also pulled on the Lightning Elemental banner, I got Rajin USB, meh.

Congrats! I'm surprised Zidane was doing crummy damage, but go with what works. Barret's party IC1+debuff USB did look pretty strong in this fight.

Still not even trying Ramuh until I get to pull on the Rinoa fest banner. Got almost 500 mythril right now, although I plan to spread it between the Ashe, Lightning, and Rinoa banners, with some ROP pulls and the AASB lucky too.

I'm not sure why either, he has 100 magia in attack, an artifact (granted a Katana because Cloud needs the Sword) and he still had a hard time breaking savage mode. Maybe with Tyro USB4 he could do it but that would overwrite Cloud's USB1. I guess Titan is just that stupid bulky.

Ahh... Zidane has sword damage bonuses on his legend dive so unless you have Cloud's sword damage LMR you're better off giving Zidane the sword and Cloud the katana. But yeah, the crit boost would make a pretty big difference especially with Zack's crit damage boost. On my team Bartz wasn't good at breaking high rage mode either because I wasn't using Tyro USB4. But he still contributed good damage the rest of the time.

It's worth using even a level 50 Titan for the fight because of the bonuses he gets against himself. You do have to relearn the fight a little bit but getting an instant guaranteed rage breaker is very nice.

I tried that but the stat loss and lack of inheritance was hurting me. I also swapped Elara for Penelo since the instant casts from her USB2 are more valuable than the quickcasts in the last phase. I finally got my second Titan so maybe he's worth using now.

Thank god you don't need to farm 6* magicite like the previous magicite, now I never have to fight this bastard again! (well besides the magic weak one for the Artifact stone)

Huh boy, and the scary thing is that this guy is the wimp of the group! (well Alexander is also supposed to be easy, for a 6* magicite at least.)

Yeah 5* magicite is a slog because of the physical/magical split (especially on rare magic elements like water, wind and holy) but you'll get through it. They're succumbing to powercreep now that Awakenings are common and the record board should be out in a couple of months. I had to deal with 15/16 of them without Awakenings (and even chains on the fire magicite, ugh!) so you should have an easier time than I did.

Well thanks to my new Titan magicite and awakenings from the Water elemental banner I finally beat water weak Odin!

This bastard is still very tough! He gets into savage mode so quickly so Titan is such a lifesaver (literally from Lv3 Zantetsukens that would have gotten me if he didn't pop in to drop Odin a rage level) And the micromanagement with imperils, dispel, sap ugh! OK Awakening + USB3 is godlike in this fight since he doesn't reduce damage as much as the other Odins, even the chases land 5 digits when the chain is high enough! Just need one more Odin accessory and I can go on a rainbow crystal junkfest!

What a funny turn of fate, I remember when I got Wakka and Barret's USBs and thought they were duds, and now here I am beating two of the game's current hardest bosses thanks to them!

And yeah, 5* magicite with Awakenings (and free chains if you need em) is a completely different story from 5* magicite with just USBs. Although they can still get you if you don't have the right tools or don't bring the right team. You still want 2 healers against Syldra, and Deathgaze can be really hard to deal damage to.

The hype on Ramuh definitely has me intimidated.

Ramuh just looks awful to deal with, he's arguably the hardest non-fest boss so far even in current Japan meta. It's probably best to ignore him and skip to Leviathan, well I would if I had any electric infusion awakenings (besides Kain)

Thought I might have completed Cid (IV) today by pulling his SSB from the daily draw, but apparently he has another SSB and another LMR.

I think I'm at least one awakening/sync short of being able to deal with Leviathan or I would try that. Right now my only relevant awakenings are Kain and Shantotto. For chains I have Garnet, Kain, Shantotto, and Reno. So I think my best plan is drawing on the Ashe banner and hopefully doing Garnet/Shantotto/Ashe for my team.

Speaking of which I finally chose my Awakening and I picked Rem, and it was worth it since I beat Holy Weak Odin with her!

Man this fight was tricky, though a lot of it was stubbornness over dropping Orlandeau because of his OSB being so cheap now and I have his AOSB, but I wasn't able to survive the really powerful attacks with him, so I swapped him for double healers Penelo and Elara. But I felt like I was overdoing healing and didn't have enough DPS since Penelo seemed to take care of the healing by herself (with a little luck from her LM2) but I still needed the speed from Elara's USB, but then I got the idea to use Marche over Elara and that was the ticket! He could qc Agrias and Ramza, build chain and dps, Rem and Penelo didn't need the quickcast anyway because their Awakening already provided quickcast.

And now I have 5 Black Armored Echos! I should try doing some more torments later with these and Titan.

I'm surprised you waited this long and then took Rem when the T0 RoP is in less than 2 hours. I'm waiting until my ROP draw, then if I don't get Rem's awakening I'll take it. If I do it then I'll take Zidane.

A lot of you guys use teams that don't have Last Stand, how do your guys stay up?

? I always bring Last Stand through Elara BSB, Eight USB, Gogo USB, Aerith USB2 or Penelo Awakening/BSB2. I think the only 5* magicite viable healer that doesn't use last stand is Rosa.

Eh, I got through most 5* magicite and Odin without last stand, using Elarra. I didn't have her BSB until a couple days ago. Elarra's USB gives you enough healing you usually don't need last stand but you have to learn the fights better and know when you need to heal and when you can afford to wait. Last stand gives you a safety net to make things easier, but none of the last stand SBs I had were as powerful as Elarra's USB.
