i was talking to a friend and they mentioned that they have never had brain freeze. i found this odd because i did not know that was possible.

do you get brain freeze?

I've never had brain freeze. But I also don't chug slurpees or anything, so it's possible I've just never eaten or drank anything cold enough.

On the other hand, I've had soft-serve ice cream cones where I pretty much deep throat the ice cream off the top of the cone in a single bite, so if anything was going to trigger it, I'd assume that should have done it.

I've had it. Mostly when eating ice cream however I don't eat frozen things all that much so haven't had it in years.

I'm sure it's like most things some people are more susceptible to it. Just like how some guy can have 10 shots of Vodka and still look pretty okay, and another has 10 shots and he is on the floor.

I think I might've gotten it once? But since it was the only time I had it I'm not actually sure if that was a brain freeze.

Yes, I think the cold stuff has to hit the roof of your mouth so maybe that's why some people never had it.
