All the old disney classics
all the marvel movies
fox tv shows (like the entire simpsons series)
Plus original content, which may or may not be good.

You can also bundle it with hulu and espn+ for a total of 13 bucks a month (my wife pays like 12 dollars a month for hulu with no ads).

I would probably drop netflix, but I actually don't pay for it and just use a family member's account.

Can you bundle with just Hulu? Or do you have to have ESPN, as well? I dont even know why Im asking. I probably wont get it, anyway...

What I mean is like a cheaper version with only Hulu and Disney+?

Rising? I heard on the radio three years ago they were going to have to start offering channels individually (something they should have done from day one) to combat piracy. Packaged channels were a big player in why piracy grew so much.

IIRC, piracy was on the decline when Netflix was emerging. But companies saw Netflix's success and wanted in on the money and began making their own service. Netflix knew this would be a problem, so they began making exclusives for their services (which is strange because they've also been killing a lot of them recently too). With the increase in streaming services and each streaming service making their own exclusives, piracy is rising again.

I'll probably pay for the disney/hulu combo if it's not much more then just the disney alone, at least till I catch up on everything on both of them. I'm guessing no commercials for the disney stuff, or the hulu originals (which is pretty much what I want to see on Hulu).

I have all access CBS for free, and HBo/Showtime etc through my uncle's Otimum account. Up till recently I just grabbed Netflix or Hulu after a few shows I wanted to watch showed up, but I've got Amazon prime for now (for another 2 months, even though I've watched pretty much everything I want to watch on there now).

Not sure if Netflix will actually even get another show I want to watch on it now that all the marvel stuff is gone, which means it would be just hulu/disney I would switch between, so a combo......for $13 or something, even with commercials for the hulu prime time tv stuff (which doesn't matter cause I have access to that already), seems like a great deal. Just snag it every 3-4 or maybe even 6 months.

Hulu actually offers a free month (So does netflix) every 6 months. I'll try Disney for the free 1-2 weeks (however long it is) and decide if I wanna pay for a month of it etc. Otherwise I'll just watch all the shows during the free trial, cancel it, and my free month of Hulu should be coming up soon (and you get it comercial free as well for the free month). There are like 2 new hulu original shows I wanna watch, then I wanna watch it's always sunny (think that is on hulu) as well.

I bought $2000 of BABA last week at $155, now $165.48

And $10 in a random penny stock that was recommended on r/pennystocks, that doubled my $10 to $20 (woo)

How to make $175.08 in a week. Now all I have to do is do that every week for the rest of my life, super easy.

I'm just now breaking even from my fuckup a month ago buying $3000 of a pharmaceutical I knew nothing about that took a crap -_-

Based on the article, it does seem like Hulu will have ads...

PwqVV2Q

9gVv8h2

If they offered a cheaper bundle for just Hulu and Disney, I may have considered it. But $12.99 is too much. Its like Im not even getting a deal. Since Disney plus on its own is $7 and Hulu is $5.99. Together, that equals $12.99. Which is the price of the bundle. Since I dont watch ESPN, it just kind of doesnt really allow me to save anything...

So, I guess I'll pass for now...

I dont care for ESPN and I absolutely dont want ads on Hulu, so Ill stick with my $12 for Ad-free Hulu, which I kinda hope they rename to Hulu+, and add on Disney+ for $7, making the total $19 unless they offer a currently unannounced bundle for those two services.

Huh. I already do the Hulu with no ads so I'm curious as to what the ad free upgrade will be.

Last time I checked Hulu without ads was like $12 (11.99 or something), which if you watch any amount of shows on hulu, is totally worth it. It doesn't remove all ads though, just most of them.

If the above poster is right, and your just getting espn for free, i'd just do them seperate anyway to get Hulu without ads, even if you don't have them for original shows (and I'm not even sure of that, as I have always gotten hulu without ads).

If you don't get ads with original content, i'll probably just do one or the other at a time, that way I can binge watch all the shows on one, and then the next month binge watch all the shows on the other *hehe*.

Swapping would probably work well. Personally, I never minded the ads. They usually last less than a minute, anyway. And I usually use that time to run to the bathroom really quick, or grab snacks and drinks. Or mess around on my phone. Haha.

If they did offer a Hulu (With or without ads) and Disney pack that would save a little money, then maybe. Though, I don't usually have a lot of free time. Though, if I get my new job, I will have some... But I'm not even sure I'd watch the Disney stuff. I'm not sure what I'd watch. Haha. Like I know they have stuff, but I don't think any of it is stuff I'll be interested in... But trying it if they had a deal would be worth it... probably...

Maybe if they show less adds then the main channels (CBS etc) on cable. I swear, I watched them with ads like a year ago and half of the time was spent on comercials. I think I timed it once and it was actually around 1/3rd of the time on comercials for a 1 hour show (22 minutes of comercials).

That is just plain rediculous, and if you watch alot of shows in a month, it really adds up. In general when I get hulu or netflix etc, I binge watch shows on it the whole month, at least 4-6 hours a day. Even at only 5 hours a day though * 30 days, is 150 hours, 1/3rd of that is 50 freaking hours of comercials.....or spend an extra $6.

I'll always spend the $6 heh.

That's insanely long. I remember having Hulu with ads years ago (before I was in the military, I believe) and I don't remember adds being that long. But these days, it's different. I think one commercial is early on, but like 10-15 seconds. Ad then 2 or 3 times during the show (can't remember which show, so can't remember if it was a long or short one). Those commercials were like 50 seconds, I think. Or a minute and a half. It's been a while since I watched Hulu. Either way, I'm sure it was less than 5 minutes. I barely notice them anymore, tbh. Especially when I just don't watch them.

I mean, it fine if people don't want to see them or don't have the patience. I personally don't have the extra money to waste...

Add in unlimited simpsons (so many episodes) and a ton of other decent shows.

This may be the first streaming service I actually keep for more then a few months at a time (a few times new shows I really wanted to see released on netflix month after month, but that was mainly only back in the glory days of Daredevil 1, Stranger things, Jessica Jones and Daredevil 2 etc. Think I did 3 months max of netflix in a row (and one of those was free).

I still rent dvds from Netflix but their online movies are complete garbage lately. I'm not saying there aren't some really brilliant ones on there, but you almost have to do some research before hand. If you try to pick one from the feed going by the notes, a lot of them are real stinkers. My husband and I resorted to just clicking randomly with our eyes closed just to see if we were picking bad ones unintentionally for some reason, and those ones were even worse. It's common that one of us will bail by the time half the movie is over. It's usually him, because I have a personal rule about giving a movie a chance once I commit and not walking away from it. But these are just awful.

Also, Disney is a poop factory. They taint everything they touch with a sheen of s*** and ruin it. Have fun with that.

I would like for Netflix to have a random button. Maybe make it so you can set it to only select things that you've haven't watched on Netflix yet and maybe let you set some options. Like, uncheck the horror genre if you want it to never select a horror movie.

I mean if it's just one ad in each of those breaks it's not much, especially compared to old school TV. If I recall about 1/4th or 1/3rd of the time you spent watching TV would be ads. It would be less ad breaks than that but you would get 4-5 ads in a row.

Its definitely not 40%. Regular tv was a little less than 33%. And Hulu is definitely less than that. A lot of times, its only 1 or 2 ads instead of the 4-5 commercials like Monopoman mentioned...
