funny thing is i absolutely love chocolate, its my favorite flavor. I guess it's just dark roast coffee I can't really dig. I had a mocha frappe or w/e from Starbucks and while i wasn't its biggest fan, it was tolerable.

Pretty much my whole office drinks coffee and i feel like the odd one out lol

i wonder when that will happen for me, to become dependent on coffee. I'm normally all natural, the only thing I really ever get is candy occassionally. That's moreso because I get fuckin deathly hungry sometimes and need something to keep me going so I tend to eat whatever lunch I packed around 10-11, and I can tough it out until I get home after work once I eat. Like I get anime levels of hungry where it's hard to focus or even move much. I had to run out to the nearest corner store and buying sugary drinks and food because I swear I was going to pass out if I didn't and I have never passed out before.

Before yall call me diabetic, I don't chug candy like that. This week was actually the first time I bought candy in a while, I buy maybe on average once a month, a bag or two

No idea. I don't know how anybody can drink that stuff straight.

I think it can be a nice flavor, as in, an enhancer or additive, maybe even the base of something tasty. But yeah. Not on its own.

I agree that cold coffee makes it somewhat more palatable? Perhaps because the molecules are not as active, and it's usually more diluted (just lukewarm or chilled black coffee that has been allowed to cool is horrid). But I still need a lot of sugar, cream and whatever else to mask the taste, even if it's cold.

Just drink mochas then. You can always add hot chocolate mix to coffee.

i ordered some hot chocolate k cups, from swiss miss. any experience with these?

Start with however much cream and sugar you need to be able to drink it. Try to reduce the amounts as you get used to the taste.

Limiting intake to 16oz per day and skipping weekends prevents caffeine dependency, or at least it does for me.

This. Work keeps both coffee and black tea stocked in the kitchen. I'm all on top of that black tea.
