I stand by my 0% probability of Ulti actually getting hammered here. No one would be foolhardy enough to want the hammer vote on their heads. Ulti will just show up at -1 and glorious info will abound. This hardly seems like a reason to stop trying.

You missed a STOP

It turned out the peace our heroes thought they had only lasted about 3 hours. A new threat has suddenly emerged. We can see that our heroes were quick to step up and take action. They rallied and the first battle against the new threat is over. After the flashes of spirit energy and the sound of punches connecting, the dust settles.

Ulti was found lying on the ground. A soft, sad, scratched voice cried, "Dimwit"

The heroes bent over and mourned. He had just finished accomplishing so much and saved them all. If he's truly gone what hope do they have?

He was, Yusuke Urameshi, TOWN Tracker

And so it all begins. This boy's name is Yusuke. He's 14 years old and is supposed to be the hero of the story...but oddly enough, he's dead. Well, that's been fixed once before, so no problem. Yusuke will just stop by the underworld and......

Unfortunately nobody is there to greet him. That would normally be the job of Jorge the Ogre, but it appears that some of the demons at the Dark Tournament eventually did see through his incredibly clever monogrammed disguise, after all.

Also I'm fucking pissed off I'm finally town and then you guys go and do that.

To elaborate, read the last part of the day, chris is spouting off about hammering to everyone. There is no scumhunting, just pushing for a fucking hammer. He isn't playing close to somsone that is going into a day expecting to be murdered before the night is done.

So I have some notes I made while going over day 1, but before I post those I wanted to say that as much as losing town power sucks, I can't help but love how beautifully our day 1 mirrors the source material. Yusuke, the main character, died. Immediately. In what was an absurdly short day 1. Very much like how he dies at the very beginning of the very first episode of the show.

Now if the parallel were to continue them we could have a Botan or a Koenma to guide Yusuke back to life. But unfortunately Ulti would never be able to prove himself to be a good person at heart the way Yusuke does so that could never work.

Chris immediately seeks to dictate the pace of town. Not really alignment indicative.

Sbell posts before running errands

Igcd makes a show of not blindly following Chris this game. This feels ironic in retrospect as everyone blindly followed Igcd during day 1.

Blade says most of the guest five ulti votes are probably town.

Lea says quick lynching ulti confirms red as mayor... Somehow? This could also be a reference I just don't understand.

Lopens first post is requesting the hammer vote. Does not go on to hammer when available.

Sbell does not run errands after all. There's something in the tone to his second post makes me trust him more, but it's hard to say what it is. I think he reminds me of myself in a way.

Lopen says Miller in all caps twice.

Corrik continues to speak with a flourish in olde English type ways. FD will remember this.

I think I like gravy's vote the least of them all. He puts vote 7 (of 9) down while saying he's only read the most recent 5 posts, which does include the votals.

Blade puts a few posts into covering what out would mean if ulti were to flip scum vanilla. I'm not sure if that's a discussion blade has in that spot if he is scum and knows that eventually won't play out so I think it reflects well on him.

I got a surprisingly visceral reaction to my arrival. I had figured it would be worth noting that I misunderstood the start time and would be busy playing VR for a couple hours. I guess I forgot that the "correct" play in mafia is to rudely not mention when people can expect you to be around. Well I reject that ideology. For example: on weekdays i I work 6am-3pm pst. That isn't me "pre emptively excusing my inactivity", that's called providing relevant fucking information.

I expect that there is at least one optimistic scum in the group of IGCD/Lea/Mzero/Lopen trying to score easy points and set up justification for my mislynch. I would throw blade in that pile too if I hadn't just found a good reason to think he's town.

Sbell votes blade for voting igcd for justifying his ulti vote... I think.

Blade says this make sbell look worse if ulti is town. I'm curious if blade still thinks this is the case.

Igcd says blade is playing differently than last game and he feels good about him as a result.

Short back and forth between blade and Chris regarding the ulti lynch.

Corrik says he's getting convinced ulti is scum. He also posted without olde English that time.

Chris says "I am the bandwagon". I'm not sure if that's just a normal amount of Chris ego posturing or if he actually forgot that he followed someone else onto the ulti lynch.

Igcd doesn't know how to double negative in post 223. He basically said he was going to unvote ulti no matter what. Words is hard :/

Blade laments being the only one to care. And he does this 3~ hours into a 48+ hour day. Umm what?

Ulti gets set to -1, Han scares people with his not ulti vote, and then Ben drops the hammer.

But what did chris leave as a trail here? Zilch. A comment about igcd being either alignment or something dumb if i recall.
