So that leak with Team Yell was right.

This is the 3rd "Evil Team" in a row that looks stupid on purpose.

And the 2nd "Evil Team" in a row where they aren't evil and have no plan or malicious goal, they're just a group of idiots.

I fear the plot for this game will be as mind numbingly boring as Sun/Moon's where nothing happens and there is no threat or stakes for over 3/4's of the game.

ive been underwhelmed since they said not every Pokemon will be in this game. The games are gonna cost almost twice as much as the DS/3DS games and have half the content. Gamefreak should be embarrassed.

basically. 8 gyms, generic evil team, elite 4 - now with less Pokemon and costs twice as much money!!!

i didnt need some crazy reboot of the series, just something that looks like it was made by competent devs.

That's what I'm saying, the game's been disappointing for some time now, but this trailer turned people off? Was it Team Yell? Was it more forms of old Pokemon even though we're not getting all the old Pokemon? Inquiring minds want to know.

I feel like corporate deadlines are killing the replay value of Pokemon.

Quit pumping out half assed games since Gen IV/V and try to make a great Pokemon game again. Lots of content, less time devoted to in-game gimmicks, etc.

For a series as beloved as Pokemon, it would be easily forgivable for a generation to take an extra year for release.

What's with the gen 5 hate? I loved gen 5. gen 6 was cool too, imo. Didn't really care for sun/moon. That was the first gen that I basically dropped after beating the elite 4. Only logged like 40 hours in the game, which is really low for me, for a pokemon game. I may go back and play it, though

Merchandising, however, is another matter.
They make SO MUCH bank off of merchandise. Kinda feels like fans of the game don't matter as much as selling plushes and cards and stuff....

I like what they did with Zigzagoon and the graphics look neat but... idk, seems underwhelming for the added price point and the system. Not that it necessarily matters because I'll likely buy it at release anyway because it's a main Pokemon game.
