Lena Dunham has been accused of inappropriate behavior after she evidently tried to kiss Brad Pitt on the lips during the London premiere of Once Upon a Time In Hollywood, the Quentin Tarantino that briefly features the Girls creator. Photos show the actress leaning in for a kiss. But instead of planting one on the lips, it looks like she landed on the side of his mouth. After the images surfaced, Twitter users had at it, complaining of double standards, labeling Dunham's actions as predatory, and referencing the #MeToo movement.

I don't believe any riots should start over this, but the critics do have a point.

If a male version of Lena Dunham ran up and attempted to steal a kiss from someone like Tailor Swift, that guy would immediately be crucified in the media.

If we really want to standardize consent rules and respect for personal space within society, gendered double standards should not be condoned in the public's eye. It directly contradicts the goal of getting most people on board with those rules when they notice half of the population is being discriminated against when those same rules are practiced...

All or nothing. That's where it's going to eventually lead anyway. First clue is when more women are starting to speak out against such gender discrepancies towards men, even in cases where those double standards favor women. It's not just guys seeing a problem with it anymore.

As talented as Brad Pitt is he was unable to successfully make it look like it wasn't awkward and weird for him. If he did try and mask it, I can only imagine how terrible he actually felt inside.

She defended a rapist, called the victim a liar, and lied saying she had evidence of the rapist's innocence only to come out a year later and said she was lying.

She's harming the #MeToo movement and the good it's done. She's a piece of shit and needs to be held accountable.
