Well, the worst thing about Sultan was that he started getting hammered to be active, and he started making posts making it clear he hadn't read the game and just weakly wagging his finger at me without any real gumption or basis on it. Like, he just saw a couple people going after me and figured he could just jump in there and be a part of the crowd.

Is it just inactive town trying to look active, or scum?

I think the reasoning for bolt is pretty simple tbh. He tried to hop off hb on the claim and then when it was clear no one was budging hopped back on.

His unvote on Hb was quick but he didn't jump back to me, either.

My unvote was literally to stop the potential for an early hammer after the claim so that Town had time to discuss. After some discussion I, along with basically everyone except Corrik, immediately dismissed the claim and lynched him.

Told you. He has continually made comments like "everyone knows Corrik always acts this way" or Corrik is always gonna do this or Corrik always claims that. These arguments are alarming. Especially cuz they are almost all wrong.

He at one point said "Corrik claims Hider every game".

I think this is the first game ever I have claimed Hider or been one. Yet "I claim hider" every game?

He also didn't seem interested in the Blade train until he could follow onto it behind others.

The last game I played with you, you ALSO claimed Hider D1. Or was it the game before last? Did you play in that weird Tournement Of Power game?

I made it very clear that I thought Blade was suspect D1 due to how little he was contributing. I didn't bother voting him on my own because I'm well aware that I'm largely unknown here and no one is going to follow me without a damn good reason, which I clearly cannot provide on D1.

Suspect me all you want, Corrik. I've done nothing but scum hunt literally since the game started.

Sadly, the Contest Board does not archive so I can't just go grab a post from 2 years ago. I think we played 4 games together total. You WERE in the ToP game IIRC, you just died kinda early as town. Idk, its been a long time and it was a weird game.

That said, if I rephrase it from "Corrik always claims Hider" to "Corrik always claims some crazy bullshit that he goes back on later" I doubt *anyone* would argue the point.

Lea has literally not played mafia in forever until the exact last game.

I staked a reputation early on of using fake claims to apply pressure, trick scum into rolling over, and extracting information to figure out the game.

As time went on, people stopped falling for it. And, thus, I don't fake claims as much anymore cuz I can't really do much with them unless in a community of people who do not know my play well.

Unfortunately, my town play has faltered greatly because I have been unable to properly adapt to feeling out relatively inactive and boring games instead of being able to drive games to get information I need to ascertain scum.

Frankly, it is why I am booty at mafia lately as town. Which is why I have adapted my scum a lot away from bussing lately because I don't seem to find scum too much as town anymore, so I need to stay consistent with my scum play.

Gonna look at my reads for a moment, with explanations when I feel appropriate.

Town:
01. Blade (Meow)- Blade is putting in work and Corrik claims to have hid behind him. I'm still not buying Corrik's Hider role but yolo

02. Corrik- Despite all the drama, Corrik is hunting scum. He's digging into arguments and looking at facts. I would expect scum Corrik to be more confidently pushing an agenda, to be louder and possibly more obnoxious about how stupid we are for not listening.

03. Firebolt- Any defense I offer of myself is obviously biased. I try to let my actions speak for themselves.

05. Lea- I want to town clear Lea largely due to how quickly she got behind the idea of lynching HB and committed to it. I just don't think scum would so willingly bus scum power. Aside from that, Lea is putting in work scum hunting. A little fixated on Corrik without much reason besides Corrik fear I think but that's just healthy paranoia imo

07. Panthera- Every time I get suss of Panth he comes in with some really insightful shit that makes total sense. He claims he Poisoned Popcorn, and Popcorn confirms being poisoned. Scum outright claiming a killing role seems suicidal? Idk, he seems to be geniunely trying to help town.

12. Ultimaterializer:There is a mayor in this game. Ulti claimed mayor D1 unopposed. Everyone tells me scum mayor is not possible. QED Ulti MUST be town.

Scum:
08. Popcorn-Fairy- Popcorn has kinda been all over the place, and is apparently on a timer now.
09. Red13- Red has made some objectively anti-town plays.

Note sure:

04. IfGodCouldDie- Claims to basically just be a warm body so the game can be running. Could be true, could be a kinda clever scum tactic.

06. MasterPlum- Not really much coloring him at all. A bit of a blank slate, as are most of my Not Sures. He definitely contributed to lynching scum power D1 and that's worth something. Missed D2 because of how short it was, but has showed up in D3 and is talking. Leaning a town read but not enough to stake a game on it.

10. Scarechan- Replaced in, has done basically nothing since then. I don't think the person he replaced posted even once? High on my list of "This guy needs to talk or die so I can read his flip"

11. TheSultanofSlam- Hasn't said much, and what he has said makes it apparent he's not following along. Has committed the faux pas of mentioning replacing out, making putting him under a magnifying glass utterly pointless :(

If you put a gun to my head, I'd say the remaining scum team is Red + Scare + Popcorn. That said, I've always been much better at town clearing people than scum reading.

Set up meta pretty much cements I am town.

There are 2 or 3 scanners. Tracker is relatively weak. As is my role which leaves an opening for 3 but I'd bet 2. I can't be targeted by scum, so the other scanner would have claimed by now with protection alive and no roleblocker left with 2 nights worth of info by now.

So, sorry. I am town, bud. So sad you scummybutts wasted time trying to Lynch me today when it ain't happening unless town has a collective stroke.
