Ok actually good night folks. Turning in early. Normally I'd try to stay drunk for a few more hours but I had a long day of fighting rivers and hiking, and it seems to have wore me out.

Nah, normally I'd stay up 3-4 more hours and kill the entire fifth. I've been up like 20 hours right now tho and am not use to hiking anymore. The good news is this means I get to drink the rest tomorrow :D

Blade usually just openly doesn't give a crap about anything day 1. Instead he was, well, kind of openly being a nuisance instead of actually just not caring. Then he gave a dumb sk theory about hb.

Mostly, I didn't necessarily trust Chris and wanted at least something alternative on the table just to see where people stood.

Granted, I wasn't a big fan of HB's play for the day either, though the way people very casually kind of solidified the lynch when ulti brought up a mayor save made me a little nervous.

Wasn't necessarily going to go to bat for hb either though, his end of day play didn't call for it. But I definitely was trying to avoid having 100% consolidation for the day so that we'd have some sort of trail for today.

Need to dig through some of the mayor interactions when i have free time later. Lopen flavor argument be damned i still doubt ulti is mayor but i think some of the hb interactions do confirm him town. Still going to be suspicious of the immediate face value takes. Not to mention check for more mayor encouragements since hb flipped rb.

Red brings up a good point. What exactly are you trying to gain info wise if another Lynch isn't an option either? We just played a game with 4 straight days of non-alternative lynches on scum which led to no information and random guessing as scum won easily.

Why not?

I don't think alternative lynches for the sake of alternative lynches are a good idea, in general. It just gives scum something to control. Like unless you thought there was some meat on the Blade lynch why go for it?

Also really trust Chris or don't trust Chris, the question should be about trusting Hb. You said his late day play didn't call for it but are you saying none of the arguments against him had any value either? Did a bunch of people just all get lucky picking him apart?

Having value and being true aren't necessarily hand in hand. They definitely had value.

Hell i think i even noted i prodded him a couple times and he blew me off on both. Definitely didn't make me enthused to go to bat for him.

The delivery, mostly. He was almost comical like... "Naturally I had no fear of being lynched with THIS" and then he just gave up immediately after claiming it. No fire, no fight.

It was a really bad claim. Sorry you're a coward who will never lynched claim power, but it was.

I was absolutely pushing blade when i was around. But just look at votals and how many people you could turn. Especially if you consider like sultan/lolo/igcd and I'm forgetting a couple people complete no voters.

But i also wasn't going to be sad if hb got lynched either.

There was also a huge possibility chris was sxum bussing hb in my mind as well(hell i think chris said it himself at one point). Again, i was never fully committed to derailing hb.
