Whats hilarious is this whole 16 thing. 16 is literally built to be used with Gohan, but because 16 is INT and doesnt have Kamehameha the only way you can use the two together and get stats boosts is under LR Cells leader skill. Gohan also needs a SS Goku to bring out the best of his attack power so basically your best bet is to get the new LR Cell, new LR Gohan, new 16 and then run Cell as leader so you can use the cards. Even doing that you will likely never see Cell or Gohan transform though. Also Im sure part 2 will have a new LR SS Goku to be put into the team since the current Android/Cell Category SS Gokus arent too amazing.

Okay, I guess if there's flavor reasons people are upset that's fine. That part doesn't matter to me quite as much, I'm kinda just looking for good units to keep building out my teams.

I just know wanting busted units doesn't always work out, given my experience with FFBE where a unit they released back in April still hasn't been surpassed, making most of the banners since then completely worthless.

Honestly I'm fine with cell's 30%, even if it is a bit low it's still doable, you just have to be careful with rotations. But to my knowledge, straight up requiring a specific character on a team to meet a condition as in gohan's case, this is the first time it's been done, and quite frankly it sucks. Combining that with an extra HP requirement, it means that the thing everyone was hyped for, doesn't necessarily suck, but it's not what we wanted.

Not to mention that nowadays, most units probably are too good for the content we get besides SBR, so there's just this air of "I have to go out of my way to see this cool thing" rather than "This cool thing will help me win battles" Even cell, who I just mentioned I don't mind a lot, suffers from this, because why else would you intentionally let your HP drop below 30%? When there are many units in today's meta that can take scratch damage from the toughest dokkan bosses?

The new Piccolo needs a Namekian on his team too. I mean the ideal one is the new Nail they made that is in his banner, but yeah we might be trending towards characters needing other characters in your team to bring out their best

Even that makes more sense gameplay wise than 16 on gohan since they're both namekians, chances are that piccolo and nail will go great together. Like you said, 16 doesn't even fit in gohan's category. I guess I should amend my statement that requiring dudes sucks as a blanket statement, since I like the idea of piccolo and nail, but it needs to be done right imo.

Yeah, the Nail is awesome and was made to be the ideal Namekian card youd run for Piccolo. This 16 stuff just makes no sense of any kind. When you look at the 4 new cards they just make no sense at all. Its like they threw from a hat full of random ideas and slapped them together

I mean it makes sense thematically but...there needs to be a balance you know? You shouldn't sacrifice gameplay viability for thematics if you can help it. I feel like they could have done both, but just decided theme was more important.

you should awaken another one at SA level 5 to combine with the original one when the EZA comes out, as the special attack level for the original will go up to 15

so you can combine the 5 and the EZA'd 10 one to make it 15

Damn that sucks. Its also a bad idea to pull there though. I dont think anything other than a VB animation means an LR either for that banner. At least the EZA Gotenks is decent

Seems hes worse than all the other DF exclusive LRs apparently and also worse than TEQ Broly, Caulifla/Kale and Goku/Frieza. At least thats what Im seeing people say. You also cant use his active skill until 3 turns after he transforms from the sound of it and transforming with him is fairly difficult....

Cleared the new bush rush. Could've done it easily with no items, but I used one as a precaution early on.

This is the first time I've ever felt like my team was like, overpowered. When I first came back to this, I was running a TEQ Vegito Blue rainbow team that was good, but started to feel like it was slowly being power creeped out before too long. Now, I'm running a Movie Heroes/Fusion team of

AGL Super Saiyan Gogeta
TEQ Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta
STR Super Gogeta
PHY Super Saiyan Goku & Super Saiyan Vegeta
PHY Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks
AGL Super Saiyan 3 Goku

And it just blows through everything. It feels like it'll be a long time before I hit a wall, and that's a super good feeling.

depends on the banners. likely will do discount summons on both either way. Gohan seems strong regardless of transformation so might pull more for him. I do want to have some stones for Kale and Cauliflower though

Supposedly theyre gonna he really good. Good enough that the leakers are going all in on them anyways. I just hope Gohans has Kid Goku and Transforming Vegeta. If Cell has Metal Cooler and Super Buu I might pull just for a shot at more SBR clears

I'm not super hype but seeing PHY LR Cell on Cell's new banner would definitely motivate me to pull more. Gohan's category seems busted and I have most of the broken cards to put there but it's a little less exciting knowing you can't even run Gohan to his full potential on his own team unless you gimp the team with Android 16

Yeah my main goal right now is to beat all the super battle roads, so I'm going to stop throwing my stones at the latest banners willy nilly I think to try and focus on specific units that I feel I need. So it depends on what these banners are, though if they're discount then that's tough to pass up anyway.

Super Battle Road. Dont attempt it since youre pretty new. Its the hardest mode in the game where even the best teams can be stomped if youre unlucky. Like enemies do neutral super attacks for over 120,000 damage even with a 40% damage reduction item active. Its nuts and basically end game content

Not to mention they are type/category restrictive anyway, even if they weren't difficult, so without a wide array of units you can't try anyway. And without a lead for that type/category there's no point.
