I know a lady who is still in this phase and she's in her 50s. I'd hate to be that old and that bitter at the same time sheesh.

I don't hate people, I just don't care about them, aside from my wife, family and friends.

Zero empathy for people I don't know. I just don't concern myself with them and wouldn't expect they'd do the same.

Not that I go out of my way to be rude or impede anybody - I just ignore them, keep to myself, etc.

It's not people I hate, but the nature of society. People have certain views because that's what they were born into. It's so much easier said than done to develop a moral conscious and intellect because you're only as self-aware as your immediate surroundings let you.

Your immediate surroundings involve the internet now tho. It's a lot easier to find outside influence. Hence why religious family's are raising kids that opt out of religion way more often. You have a lot more options to pick your surroundings

I'm not antisocial. I go out and meet people, I have people over, I still party.

However, I do dislike most of the people I meet and there are definitely more people that I hate than there are people that I love.

People are easy to hate and hard to love. Or maybe I'm just a hateful person. Idk.

This whole topic is about how it's all up to perspective lol. People irritate me and I don't like habits people have. But I understand and empathize with most habits and find the things I like about almost anybody.

I'm more in a "I hate myself and avoid other people to not force them to interact with me" phase.

I have never hated people, but I did go through a stage where I didn't want any new friends, lol. but naturally I make acquaintances everywhere. I just keep certain types at a distance.

I'm reeeeeally creeped out by people who say shit like they love animals more than people. there's no sense in even arguing with them. I just be like "aight, cool."

All my acquaintances are needy grown children who have trouble functioning as adults, let alone find the time to stop feeling sorry for themselves to contribute to meaningful relationships. All they know to do is take and take in a relationship. These people need encouragement to do simple things like "Good job you attempted some basic problem solving mommy is so proud!" but it feels patronizing as fuck so I genuinely can't do it. If I wanted to raise kids I'd make my own and make sure they're not ridiculously pathetic failures. It's lonely as fuck being the only functioning adult among your peers. I'm sick of it.

i do, and it makes me edgy, and quirky, and relatable.
