Maybe don't give EVERYBODY a girlfriend at like 11 or whatever years old if you want me and lots of viewers to relate to them. I hate when shows do this, they can't just be shows they have to rub your face in how long you've been alone and how even kids get more action that you ever have. I don't know if you get how fiction works but usually what it is is that there is the characters and the things that make them relatable and THEN the story happens on top of it. They don't actually got on real dates. Lucas and Max we never see going out either. The only time we see them hang out they are with the rest of the gang. They also have claimed to broken up and gotten back together many times. Dustin is in a long distance relationship with Suzie and never even see each other after camp. None of them are actually really dating in a traditional sense. So this really sort of works into TC's opinion.
