This expansion waa truly amazing.
I know some dislike mmos and others say they hated arr story and what not, but Shadowbringers really steps it up.

If you are an FF fan, you should play it.

I daresay, it stands up there storywise with classic FF titles.

I just saw an advert for the expansion and it was actually kind of entertaining.

Tempting to try to get into FFXIV. The free week for returning players is probably over by now though.

What complaints do you have about the plot of FFX? Mostly people complain about the voice acting the railroading the game does until the final act of the game. I don't usually see complaints about the plot or setting itself.

Yes.
Previous expacs story not as good as shadowbringers but many people really enjoyed heavensward.

Arr has a bit of a slog to pull over, but arr story is crucial to shadowbringer.

I liked them all but shadowbringers is way above the rest.

I see it this way:

Arr : introduction to the world, characters and some key concepts.

Hw : kindof a side story but a memorable one. At parts will expand some key concepts.

Sb : politics. Adds more to key concepts by the end.

Shadowbringers : all that build up is put to the test. All the things we learn about the lore, world and characters are woven into an amazing story.
You might cry tbh.
