I spent that entire day arguing it did you read anything at all?

The key points were:

1. If he had Death + Pez pegged, it's way smarter to bring them up day 3 when we've already bagged two scum. You avoid the MZero mislynch and you don't risk losing two scum scans.
2. If you don't bring up the scans that day, you can still go for Death. He did not put much effort into lynching Death, despite the meat of the argument on MZero applying to Death. His defense was "he didn't want to give up that he was cop" which is completely stupid because if MZero was scum the scumteam isn't going to know that Ben didn't scan him scum.
3. His way of revealing the scans was scummy. Drawing it out denies town time to reason it out. Also claiming he had 3 scum scans then dialing back to two felt to me like he was originally planning 3 scum reveals, then dialed it back once people started to argue that the odds were low.
4. Scum forcing a 1-1 with an upside of 2-1 mislynch (with a dumb insane/paranoid cop claim, which Sam I Am totally fits) is a viable play, particularly if a lot of the scumteam is under suspicion.

There were reasons to doubt it. I'm sorry you're a coward that says "OOOH POWER ROLE FOLLOW" every time, but scum fakeclaim power roles all the time.

Also I think that Ben lynch attempt highlights one of my major flaws in scumhunting in mafia

I'm bad at distinguishing between poor play and scummy play

Like if someone doesn't know how to play the game well, I'll destroy them for it. Sometimes they're just bad though. Last game I played on B8 I went super hard on an IGCD lynch, catching him in contradictions and stuff, and he was just bad town.

Ben I really should've had the "would scum likely do this given the potential upside" approach rather than the "does what he's doing seem like it could be a scum gambit." Cause even if it could be a scum gambit doesn't mean that it is one.

Cam's had some weird thoughts across the game.

I have my eyes on him as possible scum, along with SBell, because I felt they tried to square peg suspicion onto 5tar and never really fully backed off on it. It's like what I did with Ben with less conviction and logic behind it. I actually suspect SBell more as overthinking the game seems like something Cam would be more prone to doing, but he does have an innocent scan.

Also I don't like anyone who pushes my lynch today so quickly, to be honest. I'm clearly an lay up of a mislynch off of bad day 4 logic (HE'S SCUM WIFOM WIFOM) so anyone just going for it out of the box is suspicious.

I thought that if Ben came in with a guilty scan on Lopen Sheep/Cam would be pretty suspect for getting in on the ground floor. But since Lopen scans town, it's more null in a meaningless wifom kind of way.
