I just ISO'd Ben's Day 2. He mentioned Death as a suspect, sure... but was far more vehement in his pursuit of MZero. He never really tried to drive on train on the person he supposedly scanned, just minorly saying he was scummy. He also expects us to believe that he didn't scan MZero N2.

I'll say it again. Based on yesterday, Ben doesn't think he can lynch me on his own. He thought that flipping MZero as scum would be enough because I avoided the MZero lynch. However, MZero flipped town. He's been confident I'm scum and so he's doing this gambit here. If he's right it's a great play. He gets a scum lynch and he draws the attention of mafia as a villager.

Again, I'd rather not have to out town power to show everyone you're lying Ben.

There was no kill last night and Corrik targeted Lolo with his role, meaning Lolo is confirmed town unless you think a scum team with Red and Luis (and Death and Pez) intentionally no-killed as an advanced EV strategy in the final 14.

Occulam's Razor says Lolo and Corrik are confirmed. You and me are confirmed through 5tar's scans. Ben and 5tar are confirmed through the act of scanning.

Alternatively Lolo and Corrik are both scum.

I addressed that...Corrik reads to me as town all game, well before the claim. Red read as scum all game. There's a marked difference between those two situations.

NIGHT 1

So I want to scan someone who I do not have a strong read on, who I do not expect to die night 1 or 2 or anytime soon, and who is at least active enough where knowing their alignment matters. Like I have zero read on Lolo but I dont care what the hell his alignment is because he hasnt interacted with anyone.

Corrik is a tempting scan, but he's promised some sort of role that "knows" Puns isnt Miller, so that could help figure him out down the road. Sbell is a pretty tempting scan....in fact I should probably scan him since he was getting revved up to be lynched by multiple people before Chris received the power.

HMMMMMMMMMMMM. Nah I'm gonna be greedy and scan the one guy I'm always gonna lowkey think is scum and is never going to be here at deadline, thus being even harder to read since he never has to deal with that pressure of making a deciding vote. I just dont see myself ever getting a read on him without scanning him, so I'm happy with that for day 1.

Let me tell you how Occam's Razor actually works

1. Guy got 3 straight scum scams in a field of roughly 1/3-1/4 scum, one of which on a guy he showed little to no suspicion on
2. Guy is lying in a game about deception and roughly 1/3-1/4 of the players are out to deceive

Occam's Razor solution to the problem is actually the second option. Crazy, I know!

NIGHT 2

*sees Sultan flip Mayor*

Okay now I really want to scan Dowolf. ..Nah, he'd be the equivalent of the FD scum mayor if he's scum. Can just let him be and if he's alive at end game then he'll be obvious. So that one I feel is too self-resolving down the road to be good scan.

HOWEVER...I think I want to figure out the roommates. I also want to make sure to actually scan someone on my "non-town reads" list. Gotta commit to that. And since Tom is calling Pez scum and Pez is calling Tom town, the obvious scan here is Pez. I dont see a world where it's reversed and Tom is scum but Pez is town. So either they're both scum, both town, or this is the right choice. Also I'm looking at the end of day 1 when Chris recieved Conch powers to try and get some reads from that and Pez didnt post AT ALL. Maybe he was busy I dont remember. But since I am getting nothing from him there, my urge to scan him increases!
