If Cushing is one of those players then that one's not on me as I didn't sign him to his current deal. Of the other players that I could see holding out...yeah those are probably on me. KCF said in his little blurb during signups that the Titans were a true project for a reason!

I don't have contract issues, just delusional players that think they deserve new contracts after winning, what, five games last season? We can't do much worse. I hope they enjoy their unpaid vacations.

Steelers incur a $1.78 mil cap penalty to make an originally $8.51 mil cap hit into $7.37 mil this season
Bears incur a $2.55 mil cap penalty to make an originally $9.02 mil cap hit into $6.73 mil this season

Both Shattered and Stan demonstrated they knew what they were giving up and receiving, the financial implications, and were aware of the past histories of both players. Ingram was a 1st round pick just last season, so his production is light as a backup in his rookie season. Dockery and Castonzo both have approximately the same career block:sack ratio, though Dockery has played exclusively at G while Castonzo was a recent convert to G and played all along the OL during his career.

The Bears seek more offensive stability by making an already elite OL even better as they implement their third starting QB since the start of last season and maybe a new starting HB. They also find great value for parting with their first round pick from last season who was set to sit on the bench for likely couple more seasons. They also move up almost 50 spots in the draft to the second round to help infuse young talent in a team that has lost some quality players to retirement in recent seasons.

The Steelers get a little older and lower rating at RG but with similiar production. They were also able to save a little over $1 mil in cap space while filling two holes in the process with the possibility of finding two long-term starters, including a 22-year-old DE. The Steelers also have more flexibility with whom to choose with the 10th pick.

As per trade reform, this trade is official (it was yesterday but didn't have an opportunity to do so until now).

FYI, if we are to keep the traditional Friday-Sunday live draft, it will have to be from July 26th-28th. I will have the draft prospect sheet ready on Monday the 22nd. We could break tradition and push the draft just a little bit, but I do not believe that I will be able to make it an August 2nd-4th draft.

That works fine for me. Really it's the people who can't attend and have to send you a strategy that would be the concern as they would only have 4 days to send it. Any any draft position moves would have to be quick.

Otherwise you would be looking at either A. A gap to the draft or B. Not doing the draft on consecutive days?

I would have trouble getting in my plans with that short notice, and I prolly can't make the draft live at all, so I would prefer a bit more time if possible.

Also want to remind people I have the following picks and I am looking to package together 2 or more picks together to move up

Then we have two options for the live draft.

Option A:
Rounds 1-2 during evening ET on Friday July 26

Option B:
Rounds 1-2 during afternoon on Sunday July 28
Rounds 3-4 during afternoon on Monday July 29
Rounds 5-7 during evening on Tuesday July 30

I won't stagger days, and I won't delay the draft to late August. I originally had everything planned perfectly for option A, but I felt it necessary for me to take a 2-3 day break from B8NFLL, which delayed the start of UFA. I suppose that I could have shortened the UFA period, but I like giving people a lot of time for that.

Out of the 2 option A is better for me I think. Wouldn't be able to make day 2 in option B due to being at work

Actually what would the start time be for Sunday's rounds? If our plans don't coincide with draft time Option B might not be so bad.

There's also an option C where we do M/T/W where Wednesday will be in the afternoon, but that has no weekend day, which means the overall participation will be substantially lower than normal.

I obviously prefer Option A as I based my schedule around that, but if people take a long time to determine what they want to do in the draft (I also want to point out that you can and many have done strategies day by day and not all at once) to where 4+ days isn't enough, then we can go with Option B if 6-ish days is more preferable.

So I just spent approximately four hours doing UFA cleanup, prospect renaming, and spreadsheet editing when I was forced to shut down my browser. When I opened it back up, I couldn't access the spreadsheet while offline. I have no idea if any of the offline saved changes will go into effect when I sync tomorrow, and I had just begun putting the prospects into the sheet.

I don't have it in me to start a new sheet in another program to transfer it over later on, so prospects will almost certainly not go up until Tuesday. Expect us for right now to go with Option B for the draft regardless of what people have said since I presented those options.

Man I hope what happened to you isn't what happened to me with one of my sheets. It just started refusing to load on 1 specific device. Would load everywhere else just fine but not on that 1 device. If I copied and pasted the contents to another sheet it loaded fine.

I'm going to add the prospects today after all. After a good night's rest, the devastation has worn off. I write down all of my to-be-renamed in a notebook because a physical hard copy is actually easier for me to look at during the draft. Thus, this shouldn't take too long as I have all 139 renames recorded.

Who knows about the roster, financial, and free agent sheets though.

Live NFL Draft

This is a 7-round affair where teams select college players. There are 32 picks in each round for a total of 224 selections overall. We break this down into three real-life days. Rounds 1 and 2 are on the first day, rounds 3 and 4 are on the second day, and rounds 5 through 7 are the final day. The draft takes place in the spreadsheet as that is where all the info is, and I totally failed in my lone attempt to do a draft in both the spreadsheet and Discord.

In one of the posts below, I will include the draft order again as well as updated draft pick ownerships. I only include ownership of other teams' picks. If you wish to attend the draft at all, I require that you own a Google account and either PM me or post here the email associated with it so that I can include you as having permission in the spreadsheet and you can sign in and enter the chat function which is located near the top right of the spreadsheet. Most of you have done so in previous years, but there could be a few people wanting to attend this year but have yet to receive permission.

NFL Draft Rules

1. When it is your time to pick, post your selection in the spreadsheet

2. 5 minute pick limit, which starts when I say something along the lines of "X team is on the clock"

3. If no pick has been made after 5 minutes, I will select the player for you

4. If a user is not present at the time they are on the clock, they will be auto-drafted via rule #3 until they notify me

5. I have full veto/approval authority over trades involving draft picks during the draft and unless you attend the live draft at any point, all trades involving draft picks must be submitted to me at least 48 hours prior to the start of the draft due to how hectic it has been for me in the past.

If I can't or dont want to be here for the draft, what are my options?

Queue - You give me a list of players in order of priority. It can be as few as one and as many as the 250+ prospects that will eventually be in that sheet.

Draft Strategy - You give me a vague or specific set of instructions on how to draft your players. An example of this would be

Draft best available CB in 1st round
Draft best available player in 2nd-4th rounds
Draft best available player for a position of need in 5th-7th rounds.

Conditionals - You give me a list of conditionals. Unlike the other two examples, this one is best used if you only think that you will be unavailable for a single round. Using DE Chandler Jones as an example:
1. Draft DT Dontari Poe
2. Draft the best available offensive lineman with a 1st round grade
3. Draft the best available player for a position of need

I do prefer that everyone, even if they plan to attend the draft on any or all days, send me something from the above list. So the draft runs smoothly, I create a spreadsheet where I create detailed draft plans for all user teams in case I have to draft for them. If I am given a strategy/queue/conditional (especially one that encompasses the entire draft) from a team, then I do not have to waste my time and effort for said team.

I have not finalized a draft schedule yet, but I will no later than Wednesday. I haven't had a full look through all the posts when I gave the options to the league. From what I did glance, the most passionate wanted to stick with the Friday-Sunday schedule while the majority didn't care and stated they would be okay with Option B (maybe so if people wanted extra time that Option B allows wouldn't feel like they were being disruptive or selfish or whatever).
