I watched Toy Story as a kid, and Toy Story 3 came out when I was in college (like pretty much everyone here), and that life transition is exactly what the movie explores. It really meant something special to me at the time, and that made it way more than just a sequel cash grab. It was well justified in being made. So what's Toy Story 4's deal? Does it have something new to say? Or is it just Toy Story done over again for a new generation? It must be high quality either way for it to have such an insane rotten tomatoes score. The only thing I have maintained always is 3 > 2, but my placement of 1 has fluctuated into each position.
