I'm curious what the "idea" for Toy Story 4 is. Toy Story 3, to me, isn't so much about "completing the story" and more that it had something interesting to explore that made doing it all those years after the first two actually make sense. I watched Toy Story as a kid, and Toy Story 3 came out when I was in college (like pretty much everyone here), and that life transition is exactly what the movie explores. It really meant something special to me at the time, and that made it way more than just a sequel cash grab. It was well justified in being made.

So what's Toy Story 4's deal? Does it have something new to say? Or is it just Toy Story done over again for a new generation? It must be high quality either way for it to have such an insane rotten tomatoes score. But what does it do that should make me want to watch it?

Spoilers, but nothing that isn't in the trailers.

There is a new major character having an existential crisis, and Woody seems to be questioning his own purpose as well.
