A Male employee at a Mississippi restaurant was FIRED after he wrote an offensive remark to a group of african american woman's receipt!!

Alexia Washington and a friend visited Who Dat's in Oxford and placed an order..but when they got the receipt from a male worker at a drive thru and saw the offensive line, they were outraged!!

She said she immediately reported it to the manager who then made the employee apologize

She then posted it on her FB of the worker's vile message and said "My car isn't silver for one, For two, i wasn't rude. I didn't have any type of hostility. He didn't have any hostility with me"

Alexia then demanded the employee be Fired as she felt "racially ridiculed and demeaned as an African American female"

She wrote on her facebook "I seek justice for this hate crime and i will no longer remain silent. I've lived in Oxford for 5 years and i'm still having to deal with this type of ignorance. i'm not a rude or hateful person. I was not rude when i was at this establishment and was greeted with this kind of service. I will not stand for it"

Wylie Coleman, the owner posted a message stating the employee was fired. He sat down with Alexia for over an hour and said it's unexplainable to him why the employee wrote that and said it was necessary to terminate his contract as their food service could be jeopardized. He also added that Washington was sweet and communicative during the interaction.

1. Not a crime, so definitely not a hate crime, which also doesnt even exist.

2. Id bet theres way more to the story. Maybe he meant bitches in a nice way, like how you might say thats one bitchen nice silver car. Lots of girls like to be called bitches. He couldve assumed they would find it cute and he just was plain wrong. Depends completely on the back-and-forth they had before which we will never see.

3. She already complained and he apologized. The manager probably put some reprimand in his file, or not. Who knows!? But what is goddamn for sure is she has no damn right to end his life over it, and demanding he be fired and unemployable is ludicrous. Girl is insane.

Normally in a drive through one person takes an order and another person completes the order. It would have the person that took their order who decides what is printed on it, not the person they got the receipt from.

Normally the person who takes an order at a Drive through can't see the customer.

If they got the receipt from the drive through why does the receipt say "For Here"?

How is that a receipt if it doesn't show the price per item, total paid, and change? It has no monetary amounts at all.

If her car is not silver what makes her think the message is directed at her?

What does iPad have to do with this?

Many places have cameras in the drivethru so the person in the vehicle can be seen and probably most places that arent McDonalds have only one window to handle both payment and food pickup. Id guess this is a smaller place that does their receipts via an iPad app instead of a physical cash register, which would be why it says iPad, and many receipts come in two parts with the itemized list separate from the actual transaction details.

I suppose I can count myself lucky in this regard due to one of the jobs I have if a customer decides to be a dick I can treat them like one. Usually, if I 'insult' someone I never use race or religion as fodder, I'll use their actions, and whatever they've said to do the work for me.

I often wonder how some folk who post are act in real life and if they are in real life how they come across here. Then I wonder if they are that way how they are not hospitalised frequently or something to that effect.
