Philoktetes 06/14/19 8:06:10 AM #1:	48 Hours with Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy. The non-stop profanity is so unnecessary. I'm uncomfortable playing the dvd at home. I don't want my family hearing that stuff blaring out of the den. I'm guilty of using the occasional swear word. Perhaps several choice words if I'm angry. If you have a character who says fuck twice every sentence, and it comes across as the way that person naturally talks, then it makes sense. Sometimes, it's a little forced. Dialogue comes across almost like, "What the heck is this fucking shit?" It feels almost like somebody's gone back through previously written dialogue and added a bunch of profanity to up the maturity factor.
