No, and I never understood why people put Shaker Cheese on Pizza.

I call it Shaker Cheese, because I've always thought of it coming from a Cheese Shaker. I do use 'shaker cheese' in other things though. Cheese is by far the most important part of a pizza, followed closely by the dough and sauce in a tie. Then sausage. Then pepperoni.

I've tried it before it just never appealed to me. Anyway, last night I gave it another shot. ...One bit, everyone knows the rules... So, ya it gives the slice a more pungent taste. Not sure if I like the cold cheese on a warm pizza, you're starting to mess with the texture at that point. Does it ruin it? No. But I just find it unnecessary. Having said that I blessed with multiple places to get good pizza around here. So I don't feel the need to punch it up more than just with Garlic, Red Pepper and maybe oregano. Really though I do like a Parm/Romano mix in other things. And I guess that's the crux of the matter. The added cheese seems more special to me on certain pasta dishes, if I'm in the mood, and some soups. But I did give it another shot. And no it does ruin an otherwise good slice.
