The issue with VG is that if it isn't a coin flip, it's a forgone conclusion before the match even begins(Camilla in her first VG literally scored more in round 1 then every other combatant scored combined, which is why we started getting multipliers).

I think they had a good balance for some short period of time, before boosting the multipliers yet again.Granted the ballot mechanic is far more convenient since you don't have to look at your phone every (half)hour anymore.

VG seems to bring out the good fanart though, so I like the mode. You just can't get your hopes up too much when it comes to your favorite character winning.

I don't need the VG to be a straight path to success for the most popular character, lord knows my favorite characters would never win if that was the case.

but just.. give us something where the gauntlet actually matters. Give us a 1 star of the winner, give us boosters by using the unit we're supporting in combat, seed the contest so you don't have the two most popular characters facing off in the first goddamn round.

They should give out a free 5* version of the unit that wins the gauntlet. It's a free 5* so everyone will be happy no matter who wins.

Ilyana is now in the game. The next banner might be Farfetched Heroes 3. Right now the Top 15 characters who aren't in the game currently looks like this:

Aether Resort

We're getting the two new R&R structures. The Field, which lets us grow food crops. We can apparently grow Dragon Flowers with R&R affinity. It seems like they'll take until the next AR season to grow, but unharvested crops wither and die if you don't collect them.

The second building is the dining hall. We use the food grown in the field to cook up ingredients. This doesn't appear to give any buffs, but depending on how good the dish you make you can get rewards such as feathers. It sates that all Heroes are equally capable of preparing dishes.

Don't ask Feh to try foie gras.

Hector(And Lilina): Dressed-Up Duo

We... We have a new type of hero with this one it seems. A Duo Hero. It seems they'll get an ability they can use once per map(Cannot be used with a Duo Hero is used with Pair Up). This ability can be used any map.. including arena and grand hero battles. That seems.... game breaking. And they have a passive that makes their BST count for 185. So sit back and enjoy the new meta IS will be pushing.

Duo Heroes also get also get special voiced conversations!

And Rolf is the TT+ unit

We'll be getting 5 summoning tickets for this banner.

Harvest Festival Celebration 2019

We'll be getting the usual daily orbs

2x and 5x exp and sp events

Harvest Festival Daily Reward Maps: 7 maps, 14 orbs. You know the drill.

Harvest Festival Bound Hero Battles: Two BHB are coming back, and we apparently get a free 3* Roy and 3* Eliwood.

And a Twitter event. It's another quiz event, starting October 7th. Answer at least 5 correctly, and everyone gets 10 orbs and 5k feathers.

Aether Raid Quest

(Because Aether Raids doesn't deserve bold)

They're doing the standard cosmetic buildings for AR no one cares about, but they're also putting in quests for Aether Resort.

New Event: Hall of Forms

It looks like we'll be given a particular set of Heroes to battle, instead of what's in our barracks. Battles in the Hall costs a special form of stamina unrelated to normal stamina. One battle costs one stamina, so you can play three times a day.

Forma Heroes start off weak, but they can level up pretty quickly. Clearing maps gives you a chance to improve them. In addition to improving their weapon and giving them skills, you can obtain seals for them or merge them. Skills appear at random.

The first Forma to defeat a foe gets a chest, which allows them to be improved. Rewards include feathers, orbs, dragonflowers, and more stamina.

Begins October 10th.

Man, just like 2 days ago I was wondering if they would ever bring FE7 Epilogue Eliwood and Hector (and later on their FE6 variant), and here we are with this Halloween Hector (and Lilina) as a new unit type. Damn!

When I saw "Hall of Forms," I was thinking it would just be a library to view different alts of characters, but I'm glad that turned out wrong. It's nice they're giving us plenty of opps to get more Dragonweeds, including growing them

And thank god the Twitter event is not based on the individual. I'm not touching Twitter ever

I wonder if the Exp boost from upgrading your castle applies to Hall of Forms. Since battles are limited, exp might matter.

they said you get more exp from this mode than usual, so I'm assuming it's independently calculated to level up as if it was a real game.

I'm super pumped for Hall of Forms, which seems like a mini-fire emblem game with a randomizer. Legit I would pay full price for a full game of that.

I like L'arachel's alt, I'll probably throw some orbs trying to get that, and Illyana is someone I don't really care about but I'm happy she's finally in for her fans (plus if I get her it will be motivation to finally build the mordecais I've pulled to support her)

Mixed feelings about this update. The Hall of Forms is really interesting, looks like it could be a lot of fun. But Duo Heroes, as endearing as they are, are yet another extremely shameless pay-to-win mechanic. Maybe they will give out one for free at some point?

It's possible they will make a free one at one point. Also FEH tends to do a voting event in February where players can vote for a free Hero. So if we get something like Find & Vote Heroes 2 and Hector wins Red, free Hectors will be given out.

L'Arachel and Hector/Lilina look good. Hall of Forms might be fun. I'm looking forward to that. But I'm not liking the Duo Heroes concept either

I honestly don't even feel like dual heroes is that broken, chip damage is something that's super useful in all fire emblems except for heroes.

Unless the enemy AI can use it in aether raids, this will be like pair up to me, something that kinda seems interesting until I never use it.

Since all the units in Hall of Forms are loaner units, you can probably just jump in if you want to play it.

whoa, finally got Leanne... from my last ticket on the Halloween banner, when no greens or reds showed up. really happy about that, i must have spent 300, maybe 400 orbs between 3 previous banners going for her. no L'Arachel, though, ended up blowing most of my orbs going for Nagi. coincidentally, i got a Reyson pitybreaker then.

Hall of Forms is looking like it'll be every bit as entertaining as it promised. Boey is my big winner thus far with his refined prf tome and Quick Riposte. Meanwhile Celicia is making do with Shove (literally the best option). Sometimes you get some really worthless options like Tactics skills or Lull Spd/Def for a mage, but I guess that's all part of the fun!

I don't buy that. I've seen color sharing fuck people too many times. I personally was a victim of it going for Winter Lissa(Six Winter Chroms, and a off banner Sonya before I got one Winter Lissa).

Don't get me wrong, Null Follow up is a good skill. But I specifically want Null Disrupt, and would rather not get blocked multiple times by Corrin.
