Like, I still like those things but geeze chill there's other good stuff out there to be made This leads me to believe that you rarely venture out from your comfort zone as a lot of good stuff is constantly being made in film, video games, and board games (you also mentioned anime and deckbuilding, but I have limited experience with the former and I thought deckbuilding had to do with CCGs). You can develop more eclectic tastes if you broaden your horizons and keep an open mind while doing so. Film if I'm being real I'm not that into in the first place I guess, and board games I'm not cranky YET I just see a lot of deckbuilders that don't live up to Dominion or even Ascension imo. I was never an enormous fan but they were an interesting twist at first before they became 60% of the tv schedule. stuff like survivor, batchelor, big brother are so overdone by this point. I feel like Pokemon is heading this way too. Like seriously it's ok to take a break and actually make great new pokemon if it takes a few years longer. I'm sad about it to because it was such a big thing for me for so long.
