I didnt think that was still a thing. Where I live people either work, get welfare(like me) go to community for 2 years and make something of their lives

The ones that go to a 4 year makes no sense. Why? Wasting money on paper and sit in an office 9-5 wearing a suit? Besides you have to be smart and only the top 5% can do that and make more than min wage.

Plus school is boring. I learned nothing in high school and gained no skills haha

Now I live a nice life getting welfare checks and buying nice things with it

I hate topics and comments like this, so I will tell why I decided to go to college. Most people chose to go to college because they were forced to make a life impacting decision at ******* age 17, not because they are some smug elitist prick.

1) I grew in upper middle class suburb where all the people with nice houses and **** had degrees and were one of the few that climbed the career ladder. I was essentially shielded from the entry level bs in corporate america, so I didn't know any better.

2) There was no way I could've stayed at home. My dad remarried and my step mom had a baby a month after I graduated high school and they wanted me out of the house.

3) I was 17 and didn't know any ******* better. I wasn't old enough to smoke, drink, join the military, rent my own apt, or etc but I was old enough to get accepted in to college and pick a major. In addition, the only information I had was from my closest peers which consisted of college grad adults and teachers!

At the end of the day, I totally regret my decision and it eats me inside every ******** day.

I do!!!!

I have nice clothes at h and m, eat good meals at Olive Garden and buy tons of 60 dollar games and spend 400+ dollars on dlc the last 2 years
