Book 1-3 are very atmospheric and it gives you this very nice calm chill feeling. 4 is when it starts getting worse and 5? HAH, even worse.

It might not be for you, but give it a chance. If the first chapter isn't your thing, then that's your prerogative. But it's a fun game just to immerse yourself in the character and experience a story.

It's gonna be cheesy and pretentious at times, but I personally loved my time with the game. I hope you stick with it.

If there's gonna be any drop-off point for you, it'll probably be the end of Episode 2. But if you end up liking what the game's going for, you will be rewarded.

i lost some of my best pals after i graduate high school but i don't act like huge dick when i met them again several years later, i know they have their own things which made them busy

Also Im more max than Chloe in the sense Im terrible at even attempting to keep in touch. But Chloe has a lot of shit on her plate in general and of the two max has a lot more to be happy about as far as where things start off and the recent years of their lives.

Plus I mean Chloe stepped up in the parking lot or else they probly never would have even became friends again.

This is why CE can't have nice things.

Anyways Episode 4 is my favorite part of the game. I highly recommend you play up to episode 2 at least.

I enjoyed Life is Strange somewhat but Chloe pissed me off to no end. I feel like there's other better games to play than this one. But the game sure can resonate with some people, and I won't deny that.

Spoilers overall for Chloe.
I kept trying to stop her from taking the gun but she always had to escalate it, best future is the one where she's in a wheelchair not fucking up everyone's lives with her stupid decisions. Brutal, but when you do everything to get a gun out of her hand and she refuses to listen or even act in a nice way she should take a seat. I took the choice to kill Chloe and I'm damn sure my world is a significantly better place. I get that it's all about teen drama but Chloe takes it way too far in this game. Sometimes as a teen when you make enough bad choices you just can't recover no matter what.

It's a slow start but it gets dark and gets better.

It's definitely the best game in the genre.
