Sorry for my late response! I actually enjoyed Bohemian Rhapsody quite a bit - a 4/5 for me. Rami Malek absolutely sells the film, it's a remarkably magnetic performance start to finish. He is also backed by a game supporting cast, which helps the film rise above the occasional cliche or "on-the-nose" moments of dialogue. They let my Lion King video go through without a fight, so I'm sure this one will be fine once they get around to it...but I want a regular schedule. Really, I should just let this one be late and establish a buffer period. Have a few episodes ready so it's fine if one has to go through this system. They handled that extremely well. The cliches I would say are not high up either. The story drags you in, it made me tear up several times and not just for sadness or romance itself, its just the notes in which they tell it and the gestures made. Also Cole Sprouse is fantastic. The roles he plays are so suited to him or he just plays them very well and I have no doubt in my mind that his 'look' will be an iconic look coming up. He plays tension off very well, be it sexual or otherwise. It's almost incredible that a film so stupid could exist. It's not like it's idiotic by accident or unintentionally either.
