"Some pizza."

"Greek pizza, huh?" Raven says. "Sounds alright."

"Yes just something small for the two of us. Meet me in the table area around the outside."

You give her a kiss on the hand and leave the museum. You go back to Shadowfax and ride around to look for some local pizza, not chain restaurants.

There are quite a bit of pizza places, it reminds you of New York. You find mostly full restaurants, so you can't do those. But then you find a pizzeria, "Crust Pizza", and pull up. You check the menu while waiting in line.

When it's your turn at the front of the line, you order a medium Lawless to go for 6, and then two medium Colas for an extra 4. You hand the cashier the 10 bill Nella traded you and then move to the side to wait.

Crust Pizza is pretty fast with their service. The drink order is filled first, and you take a sip from one while waiting on the pizza. The Lawless is prepared before your eyes, with the dough, the sauce, the first layer of cheese, and then all the toppings. After a good ten minutes in the oven, the pizza is pulled out and boxed for you.

"<Thank you>," you say in Greek to the employee as you take the box.

You carefully carry the box and two drinks to Shadowfax and slowly head out. You subtly use magic to hold everything in place on your lap as you ride back to the museum.

You return to the museum parking lot and go around the outside. The seating area is in the very back, about the same space as any outdoor cafe space. Each table has its own little umbrella for shade when the neighboring trees aren't enough. Raven waves to you from a table off to the left, and you hurry over.

"Mmm~, I like how that smells," Raven says as you approach.

"So do I," you say. "Mozzarella, pepperoni, spicy calabrese sausage, kasseri cheese and cheddar."

You open the box and see the medium pizza is sliced into equal sixths, which makes three for each of you.

"Wow, these are pretty good sized slices," Raven says. "I dunno if I'll be able to have three."

"Well that's alright, you can just have the third slice later," you say.

You pull a slice from the box and take a bite. The cheese is melty and the sauce tangy, and you enjoy the combined spice of the sausage and pepperoni.

"I can see why you went with this one," Raven says after swallowing her own first bite. "That sausage has some kick to it."

"Yes," you say with a grin. "It's very good."

You two eat up and enjoy a nice summer breeze rustling through the trees.

"Y'know, this museum was nice," Raven says, "but you can only look at coins and official documents for so long. What do you say we go somewhere else?"

"I'm fine with whatever you want," you say.

"Then how about the Heraion? Or is that too far?"

"I believe the Heraion is in Loutraki," you say. "An hour or more away, depending on traffic."

"How about we do that tomorrow? Two hours or more in all, that's a big day."

"Alright," she says. "But then what do we do for the rest of today?"

"True, we didn't really have much of itinerary," you say. "Well, let's head back to the Null-Xenos home and see what everyone else wants to do."

Raven nods in agreement and the two of you head out. Raven holds onto the pizza box and both drinks as you ride out of town and back to the Xenos home.

"Hello, everyone," you say once you and Raven walk into the dining room.

"Welcome back!" Great-Uncle Al says from the table while you and Raven shake hands and hug the others. "A little surprised to see you two back so soon."

"Well our little museum date ended a bit earlier than expected," you shrug. "But Raven and I were wondering if there were any plans for the afternoon."

"That's what we were going to discuss with lunch, actually."

"Well great timing, then," you say.

You and Raven discuss with the Xenos family, with some input from the children, and when the decision is made, everyone is going to spend the day...

Raven gives you a sideways scowl, since you were among those that voted for "beach". But the decision is made, and both you and Raven go to your rooms to prepare what you need. You have your swim trunks, a shirt and your sandals at the ready in the bag. Raven has her own little bag packed and you join everyone back out on the road.

Great-Uncle Al leads the way for this family caravan out of the suburbs and to the coast. Nella rides with her family so Raven sits much more comfortably behind you as you go down the road.

You arrive at "Playground Eden" and its fairly decent public beach. The Xenos family leads the way to the changing rooms, which are just tents, and you change clothes. You meet Raven outside and she's wearing one of her modified leotards, the shoulderless one with the low-cut back.

"I went with one that I knew you'd like, but was still modest enough to have around your family," she says as she models it for you.

"Well I definitely like it," you say.

Raven smiles and links arms with you as you walk onto the sand. She's wearing her flats so she's short enough to lean her head on your shoulder for just a moment as you look out at the gentle waves.

"Rory!" Nella says as she jogs up in a very small top and bottoms. "Let's go for a swim!"

"No, Rory should make sand sculptures with us!" one of the children says.

"We'll take a swim first," you say, "but we'll be back to make sand castles and whatever else."

You and Raven follow after Nella towards the water. You do your best not to notice how high those bottoms ride up on your second cousin. Or how developed her lower body is, and how it's like a golden brown version of Raven's.

Nella hits the water first, then Raven, then you. You follow both ladies out into the deep water, and dive down low to see the small seaweed grove and the little fish darting about. Nella proves Jonas isn't the only great swimmer in her family, she does a great dolphin kick and some swirling. She smiles as she manages to dolphin kick upside-down.

You and Raven go up for air before Nella does, and the three of you tread water together as you look back at the coast. It's not too far, and the children wave to you. You wave back before floating on your back.

You let yourself move with the waves, and Raven floats up beside you. You look over to her and you both smile as you brush shoulders.

"This is boring," Nella says as she back strokes around the two of you. "Can't we go swimming off to the sandbar island over there? Or there's this spot I know around the side."

"No, no, we should stay close to the rest of the family," you say. "They might worry if we end up out of sight."

"We're not little kids," Nella grumbles. "The kids are the ones wanting to play in the sand."

"Fair enough," you say. "But I'm going to be a good older cousin or whatever I am to those kids and play in the sand."

You swim back to shore but Nella tugs Raven's arm.

"Won't you at least hang out with me?" she pouts to Raven.

"It's fine if you do," you tell Raven.

"Well, in that case," Raven says, "as cute as it is to hear the little ones call you 'Rowy', I'm not really a sand castle kinda girl. See you in a little bit?"

"See you soon," you say before continuing on your way.

[switch to Raven]

"So where do you wanna go?" Nella asks. "Sandbar? Or off to my secret hideaway?"

"I am the kinda girl who likes the sound of secret hiding spots," Raven says. "Let's go there."

Nella grins and leads the way off to the East. They go quite a good distance, to the mouth of a river near a lot of boats. Or rather, it's a parking lot with a lot of boats docked on flatbed trailers and things like that.

They go up into the river a ways, but it's a bit shallow at this point, showing a lot of lumpy, muddy river bank.

"Here we are!" Nella says as she enter tree cover.

"Wait. This is your secret hideaway?" Raven asks. "It isn't up further?"

"No, it's right here," she says. "You don't like it?"

"Well, I guess I just thought a secret hideaway would look a little nicer. And not near a sad looking boat dock."

"That's why this works so well as a hideaway," Nella smiles. "No one else will come here, so I can be alone if I wanna be alone, or I can invite a couple friends to relax and do whatever."

"Huh. That actually sounds like something I would've done," Raven says. "When I first left home, at least. And minus the 'inviting friends' part."

"Oh that's right, you're from... Haza Rap?"

"No, it's 'Azarath'," Raven chuckles. "And yes. So while I have a more 'American' accent now, I'm not American born."

"Where is Azarath?"

"Oh, far away and very tiny," Raven fibs. "Probably wouldn't even know myself."

"Alright," Nella shrugs. "Well, let's see... Where did leave it...?"

Nella rummages around in the river bank's mud.

"Ah, here it is!" she says.

She puts a little bit of Nature magic in her fingers and moves the mud aside to reveal a cooler that looks to have a cooling enchantment.

"Wow," Raven says. "Your own secret mini-fridge?"

"Yeah it was my friend's idea," Nella says. "This way we don't have to keep hauling things here from home or a market."

"Wait, your friends know you're magical?"

"Only the ones I invite here," she says. "And they're only my most closest, longest running friends ever. I could call them and we could all hang out if you want."

"Yeah, sure," Raven shrugs. "They're your friends."

Nella smiles as she brings a cell phone out.

"Where were you keeping that...?" Raven asks.

Nella ignores the question and uses her speed dial. She puts her ear to the phone as she hears it ring.

"Geia~!" she greets in Greek. "<Are you busy? I'm at the spot if you wanna hang out. No, no boys! Raven's with me. Yes, Raven, who made the trip with Rory. Yes, she's willing to meet you, come by and see her. Okay, talk to you soon!> Antio~!"

Nella hangs up and puts the phone back wherever she took it from.

"They should be here in a bit," Nella says. "For now, let's have some drinks and snacks."

Nella opens the trunk-sized cooler and Raven sees cans, bottles and an assortment of wrapped and packaged foods.

"What flavors are they?" Raven asks.

"Oh there's plenty of chocolate things, fruit flavored things, y'know," Nella shrugs. "The drinks are all sorts of flavors, too."

"In that case, hand me something..."

"Chocolate."

Nella rummages around in the cooler and pulls out a box of chocolate ice cream sandwiches.

"Catch," Nella says to Raven as she tosses on to her.

Raven catches it, and unwraps the paper around it. She bites into it, and enjoys the ice cold ice cream on her tongue. Nella meanwhile has herself a generic version of a Nestle Crunch ice cream bar, taking an apropos big *crunch* of a first bite.

"So, you must come here a lot if you have the mini-fridge tucked away," Raven says.

"Yeah, ever since getting the idea for a secret hideout, and then finding this," Nella says. "Of course, we can't always be here during the school year. But since it's summer and school's out, we meet here like every other day or so."

"Cool," Raven nods.

"What about your and your friends?" Nella asks. "I know all about Rory so you telling me about him is boring. Tell me about the Titans!"

"Well, okay," Raven says, thinking of where to start; or rather, who to start with.
