You let Raven go first and she sits on the grassy bench. You slide in beside her to be at the end of the bench, and end up sitting across from Phineas and Oleisia. Nella sits beside Raven while Jonas sits across from Nella. The children sit at the table to your left, with the oldest children closest to you.

"So how was the afternoon with the children?" Oleisia asks.

"Oh it was fun," you say. "We played jump rope."

"Uncle Rory's really good," the oldest, who you realize must be Basil, says.

"And Waven," little Andres adds.

Raven can't help but blush and gush hearing Andres say her name.

"He's so cute," she squeaks out as she smooshes her own cheeks.

"Yes, we all think so," Oleisia says with a smile. "He's Theron's and Julia's."

"Speaking of," you say. "What a surprise. Phineas is a father!"

"Came as a surprise to me, too," Phineas chuckles.

Oleisia shares in the laugh with the rest of you.

"But this is quite the surprise, too," Phineas says. "You're here not with one of those spoiled princesses. You were able to get out from under that tradition."

"Yes, it took a lot of doing," you say.

"And I beat a lot of them in duels," Raven smiles proudly.

"Yes, we heard about those," Nella says. "Took that Renee down a peg or two?"

"I'd say so," Raven smirks.

"Tell us more about that whole week," Nella says. "We obviously only got the highlights Grandma Radella was aware of, but what else went on?"

"Well," you say, already filtering through memories you can't share, "we had fun playing party games with everyone."

"Though your cousins did try to sabotage one round," Raven says.

"Yes, Ross and Reed were being passive aggressive," you say. "But even they lightened up after a few days."

"We went to the lake with Rorek's sisters and a few of the suitors," Raven says. "It was a really nice lake, too."

"We got to and from the lake on horseback, that was fun," you say.

"Yeah, it was," Raven says. "I'd never ridden horses, so it was a little scary at first. But I relaxed, and there weren't any mishaps."

"Here are the gyros!" Great-Uncle Al says as he and Uncle Aniol come out with many plates.

Everyone is served their open-mouth sandwiches, and you for one enjoy the smell of the pork and peppers.

"And here's plenty of lemonade," Aunt Solona says as she sets out several pitchers.

Everyone is poured a glass and you chow down on the sandwiches.

"Ah, yes," you say. "There's the heat."

"You still love spicy foods, huh?" Jonas says.

"You never outgrow spicy foods, mate," you say before taking a big sip of lemonade.

"So after our meal, most of the family is going to go back to the docks," Phineas says. "There's still some work to be done."

"That's quite alright," you say.

"Raven and I can go into the city, take a look around."

"Yeah, I'd like that," Raven says.

"Oh, yes!" Nella says. "We can go shopping~!"

"Didn't you and your friends already do that?" Jonas says.

"There's always more shopping to be done," Nella says very matter-of-fact.

"I guess that's fine," Raven says with a nervous shrug.

"Yes~!" Nella says. "I'll show you all of my favorite shops and places to go."

"That sounds great," you say. "And we can find the best way to Athens for the Numismatic Museum."

"Ooo~, yes!" Raven says.

"The museum?" Nella says. "How boring. I didn't realize you'd find yourself a nerd."

"Hey..." Raven says a little defensively. "The Numismatic has some great stuff. The ancient coin collection, various other cultural artifacts, a huge library-"

Nella pretends to snore.

"Okay, it does sound nerdy," Raven chuckles. "But it's fine, Rorek and I will go on our own whenever it is we go."

"Yes, I think we can go..."

"Tomorrow morning. The musuem won't be as busy after first opening, and we can spend most of the day there before having lunch."

"I like that," Raven says.

"Well fine, that's tomorrow," Nella says. "But today, I'll be sure to show you the best spot for shopping, eating and spending time together! Jonas, let me borrow your car."

"No way," he says. "You always move the seat up too close and have the mirrors moved."

"Wait, how did you get to the city and back on your own then?" you ask Nella.

"I had a friend drop me off."

"Well we can ride in on Shadowfax," you say. "Oh! Shadowfax! We forgot him in the ship!"

"Not to worry," Great-Aunt Radella says. "We brought the bike in very carefully, and it's waiting in the garage."

You breathe easier now.

"I feel really bad for forgetting him," you say. "We should've ridden him in behind the car."

"It's alright, we'll be driving around on him a lot once we get back to the States," Raven says.

"Yes, our supernatural hot spot road trip," you say. "We'll definitely be getting a lot of miles in."

"Supernatural?" Phineas says. "Like ghosts and spirits?"

"Yes, Raven really likes things like that," you say. "Horror movies, ghost stories, things like that."

"Really?" Nella says. "I don't know if that makes you cool or creepy."

"Aren't you usually squeamish with those kinds of things?" Jonas asks you.

"I've come to handle them better," you say.

"In large part thanks to me," Raven smiles.

"But if you take your motorcycle, that's not a lot of room," Phineas says.

"We can just bunch up," you say. "There's still plenty of room on the back."

"Are you sure?" Nella says as she looks at Raven's hips.

"Oh stop it," Raven laughs. "We can fit."

You, Raven and Nella finish eating, say bye for now, then she leads the way to the garage.

"There you are," you say as you go to Shadowfax. "Sorry about that, boy."

You check Shadowfax over, and he's perfectly fine. There are no scratches, the tires are properly inflated, and the mirrors are just how you left them.

"He gets like this with his motorcycle," Raven says to Nella.

You frown at her, but she and Nella just giggle.

"Alright, we only have two helmets," you say. "Do you have your own helmet, Nella?"

"I have an old bicycle helmet," she says.

"Well, I don't know how well that'll work..." Raven says.

"I suppose I could be careful driving," you say.

You hop aboard Shadowfax and put on your helmet. Raven puts her helmet on then hops on behind you. Nella puts on her bright white bicycle helmet and hops on behind Raven. Raven holds on tight to you and Nella holds on tight to her.

"See? We all fit," you say as you start Shadowfax up.

You pull out of the garage and down the road.

"So what's the best way into the city and your favorite spot, Nella?" you ask as you go.

"Umm, I dunno," she says. "I don't think they're too different."

"We'll just stay on the main road then," you say.

You drive into the city of Athens, and Nella guides you to the Athens Heart Mall.

"So what do you want to start with?" she asks as you find a parking spot.

"Well I'd imagine we should see what bookstores have to offer," you say.

"Ooo, yes, please," Raven says excitedly.

"Such nerds," Nella teases.

The three of you walk into the mall and Nella shows you the way.

"Oh, an English to Greek guidebook," Raven says. "I should definitely get this, just in case."

Raven brings a copy along as she looks at the other sections.

"Hmm," she says as she looks around. "Guess I'll need this already."

"I can translate," Nella says. "They have plenty of horror, mystery and romance."

"Ooo~," Raven says.

Raven looks at the books, but sees a very big problem.

"These are all in Greek," she says. "I can't read Greek novels..."

"Why didn't we realize this before?" you say.

"So on to fashion?" Nella asks.

"Hold on," Raven says. "I can still try to read one while learning Greek."

"Then maybe you should try and get a book in the children's department," Nella smirks.

"I can handle more complex books," Raven grumbles.

Raven looks between the genre choices and grabs the book with the werewolf and the cowering woman on the cover. She brings that and her language guide to the front counter, and Nella helps you figure out the monetary ratio. You pay the equivalent of $15 and you carry the books in a bag for Raven.

"Okay, time for fashion!" Nella says as she takes Raven by the hand.

Nella pulls Raven along at a brisk pace, and you hurry behind. The three of you enter what is apparently the Greek equivalent of Hot Topic.

"Okay, first off," Nella says, "I finally know someone who will look great in these!"

Nella shows the two of you a rack of black cut-off jean shorts that are very short.

"Umm..." you and Raven both say.

"Oh come on," Nella says. "These would look great on Raven, because she can actually fill these things out! Am I right, or am I right?"

"Yes, of course," you say. "We should get you a pair."

"What?" Raven says. "Why?"

"Well it's summer both here and in the States," you say. "And we'll be arriving first in Florida. You'll definitely need more shorts if we're going there first."

"Okay, but does it have to be these?" Raven says as Nella starts putting the shorts against her hips. "Stop...!"

"You'll look great in them, though..." Nella says while Raven moves away.

"You really will," you say with a nod.

"Oh stop it," Raven says with a playful smack on the shoulder.

"Why are you so against it?" you ask. "You wear shorter things, like your leotard."

Raven grumbles, but she can't counter that.

"Just the one pair," she says. "And I'm not wearing them in public."

"Fine, fine," you say.

The three of you move on, and while Nella flirts with a boy across the way, Raven looks at a selection of shirts.

"Are these Greek rock bands?" Raven asks.

"Hm?" Nella says as she looks over. "Oh, yes, and a lot of them have been around for a long time. I'm sure I've heard their music on the radio or something, but I don't really know any that well."

"Planet of Zeus, Pyx Lax, oooh~, Raining Pleasure," Raven says as she reads the names.

"Let's get one each," you say.

"Really?" Raven says.

"Yeah, why not?" you say. "I'll get you this black one, and I'll have the white one."

"Well, this one's too big for Raven," Nella says.

"What're you talking about?" Raven says. "That's exactly my size."

"But you need one that's tighter," Nella says. "You gotta make those hooters stand out."

"Excuse me?" Raven laughs.

"You agree, don't you?" Nella asks you.

"Well, it'd be a lie if I said 'no'," you say. "Let's get you both and you can wear whichever one you want."

You pick out a women's small and medium for her, then a men's large for yourself.

"Yeah, this will be a nice look for you," Nella says to Raven, looking at the items together.

The three of you go to the counter and you pay the total of $55 American for the three shirts and pair of shorts.

"Alright, on to swimsuits!" Nella says.

"No, no," Raven says. "I have plenty of swim wear."

"Yes, we don't need to go shopping for that," you say. "How about we just have some fun?"

"Alright, then what about having some fun?" Nella says. "We can go to the arcade."

"The arcade?" Raven says. "Isn't that kind of 'nerdy'?"

"Arcades are for gaming without it being nerdy," Nella says in another manner-of-fact way. "Y'know, like Dance Dance Revolution."

"Are there games with prizes?" you ask.

"Of course," she says.

"Then how about I win you some more stuffed animals?" you ask Raven.

"To add to my collection back home?" Raven says. "Well, as long as it's not a teddy bear or something."

Nella leads the way to the arcade, which is very busy. Nella flirts with more people as you pass the token machine. You get yourself about a dozen tokens and head to the claw machines.

"See anything you like?" you ask Raven.

Raven looks through the glass at the selection. The first machine is definitely not the one, it has nothing but bears and bunnies. The second machine seems promising with ocean life like dolphins and whales. The third seems to have a random assortment of everything else.

"Let's try this one," she says to the third machine.

"Alright," you say. "But what in that do you want?"

"I dunno," she says with a slightly embarrassed pout. "They all look nice."

"Well okay," you chuckle. "How about we try..."

"The crab."

You put in a couple tokens and the machine starts up. You guide the claw and line it up with the red shellfish, then press the button. The claw lowers, grabs the crab, and rises. The claw has the crab just under its own claws, and the crab starts to shift forward.

"No, don't fall out," Raven says.

The crab starts to slump out little by little, and you silently hope the claw hurries up. The claw returns to its station over the chute, and drops the drab in. You and Raven sigh as you fetch the crab out of the slot in the bottom.

"That was a close call," you say as you hold it up. "Here you are."

Raven holds the crab in both hands and has a cute little smile as she looks at it's bead eyes that sit close together on the stuffed animal's face.

"What should his name be?" she asks you.

"Why me?" you say.

"Well, you've named my other stuffed animals up to this point. You might as well name this one, too."

"Alright," you say. "A name for a crab... Oh, how about this? Chris, Stacean."

"Chris Stacean?" Raven repeats.

"Say it a little faster," you smirk, "you'll get it."

"Chris Stacean," she says. "Chris Stacean. Christacean- Oh, like crustacean! Okay, that's good, that's good."

"Let's see what I can get for Rebecca and Roselind," you say.

"Oh, yeah," Raven says. "Rebecca likes the sea, so get her something from the second machine."

"Doesn't she have plenty of dolphins and whales, though?" you ask.

"Not a whale like this one," Raven says as she points.

"Oh, a beluga whale," you say. "Yes, that is definitely unique. Let's go for that."

You put in a token and start up this machine. The claw moves and you aim for the beluga whale, it's soft gray standing out against the blue of the, well, blue whales. The claw lowers, and grabs the whale by the tail. You're tense as the whale dangles from the claw, but are relieved as the stuffed animal drops into the chute.

"One beluga whale in the bag," you say as you bring it out.

However, Raven is busy looking in the third machine.

"What are you looking for?" you ask.

"Something for Roselind, obivously," she says. "Land creatures she might like. I can't be sure if she'd like this squirrel, this moose, or this elephant."
