I'm not. I don't know how to defeat opponents in various Battle Royale games with shooting elements such as Fortnite and PUBG. Once someone starts shooting at me it's hard to retaliate.

I'm better at certain games like Battlefield and Counter-Strike, not as good at the twitch shooters like CoD and definitely not good at Battle Royale games.

Kinda, back when BF3 was popular.

Even then I mostly stuck to jets and tanks.

I was decent at halo 2 back in its heyday. I never won any state tournaments with the top players but I made it fairly deep. From there it's just uncanny how skilled those guys are.

That time is now long past, and I suck at all video games now.

Maybe, been several years since Ive enjoyed one online (Tribes: Ascend was the last one I got good enough at to be called a hacker on multiple occasions) Seems like every FPS these days is DLC and MTX to the max and it really detracts from the experience

Im pretty good. I usually sit above average on the K:D ratio, but I dont really put much effort into memorizing maps and learning the finer points. Counter strike for computer... I would confidently take anyone here on at counterstrike and win.

I've ever gotten into two FPS games. Verdun and Tannenburg.
I do enjoy those, and I am good at them.
But that's it.

Side note: I still think of Shmps when I hear or say Shooting games.

No, I'm an invitation for opponents to rack up easy, rapid sniper kills or melee kills, whatever they want.

I'm bad enough to singlehandedly lose my team the match. I can group up with world champions against regular Joes and my team will still probably lose the match because of me. I'm that bad.

I haven't played the genre in years. When I did, I wasn't elite but I was far above average.

In Resistance: Fall of Man I played mostly free-for-all matches. I pretty much exclusively used the starting machine guns. I won about two-thirds of my matches with a 1.7 K/D.

In the first Modern Warfare I had a 1.9 K/D. I always used the AK47 because recoil doesn't matter if you land your first shot.

Those are the only two FPS games I played against other people.

I get better with age.

When I first played Modern Warfare 2 my K/D was around 0.60.

Now in Infinite Warfare I'm at 1.6.

I'm also partially colorblind, so any game with blue/red or a similar variant I have an advantage in.

The closest thing to a shooter I've enjoyed is Sniper Elite, but that game gives you a lot of assists on the lower difficulties, and is really a much slower pace to begin with.

Not really. I am often not successful at maintaining a positive kill/death ratio. im much better at platformers, smash brothers or non technical racers like mario kart.

I'm the exact opposite of this. I suck at slower, more defensive-based shooters like Battlefield, but I can kick ass rushing around in twitch-based shooters like Call of Duty. I'm not super good to the point where I can carry teams, and I won't go on really long streaks very often, but I can consistently go positive and sometimes go off for like 25-30 kills in a game. I would say that my 'average' game in Team Deathmatch (assuming the usual score limit of 75) these days is about 18-20 kills and 12-14 deaths.
