Nothing but stress, expectations and a drain on my wallet. I want to shoot out every speaker blaring the same dozen insipid songs 80 different artists try to put their own talentless spin on everywhere you go.
I hate the commercials. Especially the ones with some Santa driving his holly jolly ass around in some car they're trying to sell you. I hate that on Nov 1 I have all this shit shoved in my face wherever i go when the pumpkin from the night before is still on my porch and Thanksgiving is still 3 weeks away.
The crowds of assholes at every store. The crowds of assholes clogging the streets and freeway.

Even at church where they should be focused on the one thing the holiday is about it's instead about money, money, money. A second collection for this. A third collection for that. So like any other weekend in a catholic church.
I walked into a Bath & Bodyworks the other day since it was right next to the Barnes & Noble I was at and two grown ass women were honest to god acting like excited chickens that just shat out an egg over some box of lotion a worker brought out from the back. It's the last box OMG! They were shoving their hands in there in a panic before the worker even put it on the table. I left. I thought to myself I hope you both choke on your next meal and left.

Don't enjoy it anymore. I use to. But the festive feelings have been strangled out of me.
