27 y/o Spain Beauty, Angela Ponce, the FIRST TRANSGENDER woman in the 66 year history of the Miss Universe competition struts on the runway as the competition begins...and she went full political right off the bat by SLAMMING TRUMP!!

Critics say this is a throwback to stereotypes of the pre #MeToo era and has preached inclusitivity

It has an ALL-WOMEN panel of judges made up of business leaders and former Miss Universe titleholders..

I tread lightly on this. I have no problem with the pageant, but it does set a precedent, and I do not want the precedent to be exploited in other areas of life. For example, I do not want a man putting on a dress, just so he can get in the ring and have an advantage in women's boxing. I know it seems crazy, but I feel if the doors are opened for it, then someone will walk through them. I hate that I am discriminating, but I also think things like this should not be done without careful thought and concern, but also compassion.

I'm looking at that first picture and feeling like the curve at the hip area doesn't look right.

If someone wants to join our woman club, I say let them! And they should be able to do all that natural born women can do and be called "she" if they want to. I personally welcome this new member with open arms. (Heck, Laverne Cox looks better in a bikini than I do.)
