Kenji Social Link: beated

I completed most of P5's social links, so I can reasonably state that I think his is the worst I've seen so far. Granted, I never finished Chihaya, Haru, or the arcade kid. I think the big problem with it is that I, Frank Svensson, Japanese student extraordinaire, did nothing to help him resolve his problems, I was just sort of present. And apparently he's not even a social link in the girl route, so he's doomed no matter what happens. Sucks to be him, I guess.

I feel like one of the reasons p3 has so much more dungeon emphasis than p4 and p5 is because as they got better with the social links and the overworld, they didn't need to have so much riding on the battle system.

Chihiro has jumped to top two waifus right now, it's between her and Mitsuru. I made a waifu tier list for P5 because people asked, so here we go:
Mitsuru >= Chihiro > Elizabeth > That One Teacher > Yukari > Fuuka > Natsuki

Of course, all of this is subject to change.

All of this consensus about the worst social link makes me worried that I'll miss it somehow.

I don't have the hanged man, sun, hermit, tower, empress, or devil links yet. I assume Mitsuru will be empress because what else could she possibly be, not sure about Fuuka (hermit?) and Yukari, though.

P3 Tower is one of my favorites in the series. Hermit, Sun, Empress, and Devil are also some good ones.

Hanged Man is Maiko (one of my personal favorites)

Hermit is Maya which is a lot of people's favorite, along with Sun, which is Akinari, a.k.a. sickly young man

Also, while I do think Fuuka is far and away the weakest VA performance of SEES (unfortunate given she's your navigator) she is still miles better than Natsuki who IIRC was my pick for worst in the game.

They do not... I'm pretty sure at least.

EXP scales based on level though and is calculated individually however so they should catch-up fast. The results screen shows EXP for MC AFAIK.

I just literally threw my controller across the room after a particularly ridiculous bufu miss/double enemy maragi wiped me after I got a red shadow drop I needed for Elizabeth's quests.

This stuff is just so infuriating.

A lot of the Tartarus bosses function as basically gear checks which is kind of frustrating. The actual story bosses are much better from a game design standpoint imo.

It's also not uncommon that for the Tartarus bosses I would just approach the first fight as a sort of trial run. Obviously I'd try and win, but a non-negligible portion of the time it's like "Well I brought this Persona weak to Fire and he started out using 3 fire spells in a row and wiped me. Woops. Guess we don't bring that Persona next time."

I've gotten by so far, but this guy's tossing around AoE wind spells that either one-shot Akihito or knock him to single digit health while almost killing everyone else. And I certainly can't bring Junpei because he's weak to wind. I'm not sure what gear I could be using that's better than what I have, either. And his single target wind spells, one did 340 damage to my main character, who has 170~ HP.

Sorry I said gear checks because that's what people call it in other contexts, but here it really means "level check" more than "gear check", I think.

I don't remember specific fights, but in general I would say try to find a Persona that nullifies/resists Wind, which I'm guessing is likely possible. I'd also advise using Tarunda if you haven't been, since I think it's pretty important in this game.

Or it may be that you just have to grind. I will say that this is one of the few RPG's where I've gone out of my way to level my characters. (Though, this might be more because the way I often approach Tartarus is to avoid fights as much as possible and blitz to the next checkpoint, which generally means I have less encounters/EXP than I'm "supposed" to have by a particular floor.)

Are Wind Resist accessories being sold at the shop? One of those for either Junpei or Akihiko wouldn't be bad here.
