Just moved overseas so I only brought the essentials:

zb2BG9m

Guitar is a Fresher Leo Nine, lesser known Japanese company that made Les Pauls during the lawsuit era. Really well made, I like it more than Gibsons I've played actually and it was a fraction of the price. Has a DiMarzio DP103 neck and Gibson 57 classic in the bridge with a reverse phase switch

Amp is a Vox Adio Air GT portable amp. Really good one, though I actually have a Yamaha THR back home that I prefer but didn't want to travel with it

Pedals I brought are a catalinbread dirty little secret and belle epoch deluxe, red witch moon phaser, and TC hall of fame reverb. Would like to find a cheap wah pedal next

2017 SG Standard in heritage cherry
1979 Guild S-70D, one in cherry one in walnut, fewer than 250 made
Squire strat in Burgundy Mist Metallic, bridge and middle pickup swapped for DiMarzio SDS-1s

Digitech Whammy > BOSS CH-1 > MXR Distortion+ > Wren & Cuff Box of War > MIJ BOSS BF-2 > EHX Small Clone > BOSS RE-20 > BOSS DM-2w > BOSS DD-3 > TU-3

Amp is a 197? Fender Dual Showman Reverb, 135w model, into a Sunn 2x15. The sunn has mold in it that I really need to get rid of tho :/

My gear is all put up atm, but I'm a guitarist.

Same, but I play guitar and bass. Guitar is an Epiphone S-310 (a Strat copy, but with the angled back headstock), bass is a Fender (Squier) P-Bass (you wanna talk weird; in high school we cleaned out the drum room, and there was an instruction manual for this exact model from back when my band marched with a bass. Years later I ended up buying one like it).

Amp is a Univox Stage 450B bass amp that my grandpa used when he played in a bar band. From what I've been able to find, it's only 20W, but this thing is fucking powerful. If I put the master volume up above 4 it literally starts to get uncomfortably loud.

I only bought the cheap acoustic because it was easier to carry around or pull out and play for a few minutes. I had a nice one at one of my old jobs (youth center music teacher) that I actually liked playing, but I'll still always prefer electric and will likely never buy a good acoustic.

my main instrument is bass, i have a Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass ive owned for probably close to 10 years.

awesome bass, i love how thin the neck is & the black inlays between some of the frets. my only complaint is that it has Geddy's signature on the back of the headstock because Rush fucking sucks. however that's the only thing that would make you thing it's a "signature" instrument so I can deal with it.

ampwise I have an Ampeg combo amp, it's like 100w. Sounds good & gets the job done

for guitar i have a Gibson Les Paul CM that I bought a few years ago on a deep sale. Looks pretty cool and sounds alright through an Orange practice amp I have. i dont really know much about guitar tho so it's kind of a wasted purchase for me

I just have a Martin D-28 acoustic. My goal was to be able to play any song, including stuff like Early Metallica and Led Zeppelin on an acoustic guitar when in reality they should be played on an electric. My finger and hand strength has exploded since as I've largely accomplished that goal. If you're good enough, the songs still sound damn good on an acoustic.

I'll probably get an electric soon, though..

Usually the JC, it's really the best sounding amp after an AC30 w/ Alnico Blue speakers. If I had both I'd still pick the JC over the AC30blue because of weight.

The Princeton is surprisingly close in sound but pretty quiet so I don't gig with it. If I'm recording using mics I'll usually pick the Princeton just because it sounds more "contained" for that scenario and has a very in-depth pre-amp.

Anyone own a Class A tube amp? Those are my favorite. I haven't owned an electric guitar for years, but I'm thinking of getting one along with like a 5 watt Class A tube amp.

Don't let the lack of watts fool you. A 5 watt Class A tube amp can get louder than it ever needs to be for playing at your residence. I just love the tones they are capable of producing...and I love how they bring out the nuances of your playing style rather than compressing it like most amps do.
